To all the corolla/camry drivers, we have entered a particular stage of the year where it is paramount to be extra careful. You already possess something valuable, something that can give instant cash when sold, avoid things that would give you out easily, avoid certain areas but above all, ask God for protection...
This is key. Men are dying on a daily... undecided

Went for taxify inspection yesterday,
one guy said his Camry big daddy, half tank takes him from Lagos to Onisha, was wondering if the Camry has corolla engine
Camry get big tank, half tank about 35litres and based on the fact it's highway with the car at top speed most part of the journey, it's very doable. Because 40litres/ 6k fuel will carry corolla/civic all the way from Enugu to Lasgidi

Factually, I have moved a big daddy from enugu-lagos with 50liters

car45 is a no go area for inspection. Don't take ur car there for inspection. They take too long to send ur result. Most times u will need to come back to there office again to beg them to send u d result.
I went there and they sent a BS report. Without driving the car anywhere, they gave results on things that could only be evaluated when the car is driven. It looked like the car was evaluated based on previous knowledge they had of the same model. Then they said FAILED

I use hot 4 pro too and I'm experiencing the same. From experience I notice if I use map with uber I will get close to normal fare and if I don't use map with taxify I will get close to normal fare. At first I used to do fare review but in order to avoid my account being flagged or blocked for frequent fare reviews I resolved to asking riders to pay normal fare and disregard the crazy one, the commission is too little to kill me so I will live with it till I change my phone

Works just fine. Had same issue with my android 5.1 OS phone. But check your internal storage, if it's almost full (less than 1GB) try to get an SDcard or discard irrelevant items. It helped my phone's condition a bit when I did, been getting normalised rates recently.

Is it in this scarcity of request someone wants to save n buy phone? shocked

Hello everyone,
Uber and Taxify are huge successes in the on-demand ridesharing economy.
Their success stories have prompted an interest in what you can do with on-demand services.

Automate your processes, modernize your customer's experiences.
We can help you build mobile apps to fit your business or you can choose from one of our ready made solutions.
Here are examples of a few industries we serve

Laundry Services; Be the Giant of the Laundry business. Get an app that your customers can easily download and request for their laundry to be picked up or returned.

Car Wash; Develop a mobile car wash where your clients can request for their vehicles to be washed, the app uses GPS to auto-locate customer.

Home Services; If you would like to build an app for home services such as cleaners, cooks, helps etc. So that your customers can request for such services through your app all auto located with GPS.

Healthcare; Get doctors and nurses on the go, let people who need home service for doctors, nurses or pharmacies use your app to request such services.

Ordinarily, to build such a platform from scratch would cost you up to $100,000.
Our solution costs a fraction of that amount and is so much more scalable and flexible.

We also do;
-Product development
-Customer and vendor acquisition programs
-Ad campaigns
-Social media campaigns
And much more

We can build an app and a platform for you.

Yes it's not good for this ehailing biz especially for drivers on rental. The biz involves city driving and you know lagos city with traffic. But when it comes to highway, a corolla has minimal consumption advantage compared to larger engines.
On the highway, while you are revving at 3000rpm to go past 100km/h, I will be doing 1800rpm in my 4.0L engine 4runner to steady at 100km/h. But God help me if we jam 30mins traffic or I have to decelerate and accelerate constantly.

I would arrange it in this other
1. Proximity to rider
2. Internet efficiency
3. Activity score
4. Rating

I'm testing a new hypothesis, whether or not you get increased request when you set the radius of your driver app over 2km (say 3;4;5)

Going to idiroko boarder from abule egba.
This is a new profile on Uber which I am sure can't be traceable.

Some rider ehn.
I am just about showing a rider not to take drivers as low people. I have not been in a good mood to work today but this nonsense is happening when I am now ready.
Got a request by 12.30pm on dot, the rider is not out as at the time of this post. And the main reason for waiting this long is because it's a long trip. Waiting till she is ready and keep posting her that I am on my way for 30mins if she has the patience before she realizes that the guy has done a payback grin. I wish to see her mood when I do this to her.
She even had the gut to ask me to leave if I can't wait any longer. Yet I waited for more than 40mins
UPDATE: THE RIDER CANCELLED BY 1.29PM
UPDATE: PAYBACK TIME grin the rider requested by 1.35 again, now I am posting the rider that I am on my way
UPDATE: The rider finally cancelled by 1.57pm. I hope she won't waste the next driver's time. The driver will be lucky getting a trip of 57km.

Driving in Lagos is not easy.
1. police will do you strong thing especially if you don't know most of the traffic laws.
2. Lastma.
3. CDS or CMD or what do they call those guys at Lagos island.
4. You can't rely to much on Google cos it may take you through a one way road at times.
You can make it but driving on Lagos roads is not for the faint hearted.
5. Commercial drivers are also there.
6. Those jalopy cars on mainland are also there when you are in the traffic congestion. But you won't have this problem on the island..
