In both cases, u will still have to be present at VFS. Whether u need to book an appointment or u can apply straight away. I will advise u just go there with all your documents. If you need to book appointment, they will tell u to come back on another day.

U can also check pages 491-494. I think someone was at VFS lagos recently.

Hello madam.

Please, just want to ask why your spouse didn't submit his application with urs and the kid(s).........What is the danger in applying together as I am about with my spouse and two kids.. The concern is how to convince the VO that the real intention is to study. Lucky not to have my details in express entry pool as I feel background check can extend to that pool to ascertain intention. Still expecting York to give me admission to their new masters in Supply Chains, otherwise I will go for PGD in Centennial or Humber.

It was submitted together as a family application, however his own is still in eligibility review/med passed.
while ours has been processed already.

If you read from page zero of this thread many seniors here have provided valid points on how to tackle writing a convincing SOP.
Maybe provide more information about your profile and sample SOP you have already written and post it here and myself and other gurus here can help read and add our 2cents.

It's not a good idea to also have a profile in the EE pool as you have already noted the reason in your post. ( it will show dual intent to study and remain in Canada afterward, hence defending that you will return will be difficult before the VO).

Same with my application, Lagos office replied the mail I sent to London immigration

How far with your application? How long did it take you from the day you received that generic mail saying your application is under active processing, till the day they decided? Asking cos I just received that same response yesterday saying my application is under active processing. And I have missed fall resumption already which started Sept 18. If they give me a decision this month I can rush to school. Just trying to gauge the timeline since you received that letter and the day your application was decided, if at all it has been decided. Please let me know. Thanks!

We write in reply to your enquiry.

As indicated on our website, the processing times provided are based on how long it took to process 80% of all applications during that time period and are subject to change. As these processing times refer to 80% of applications, some applications will fall outside of these timeframes. In addition, as they are an average, there will be some fluctuations in processing times at peak periods during the course of the year.

That being said, please be assured that your application has been received and is currently in active process and we are making every effort to complete processing as expeditiously as possible. As soon as processing is completed we will contact you.

If you are no longer interested in visiting Canada, please inform our office in writing that you wish to withdraw your application. As processing of your application has already commenced, a processing fee refund would not be applicable

Dear Visa Officer,

This is an urgent situation requiring your attention. Please find attached with this email, a letter from USASK. The school has resumed and class instructions starts in earnest on September 18, 2018. I have been offered admission and full scholarship at the University of Saskatchewan (USASK). Having deferred my admission from last fall to this fall, this is the last chance I may get. Please anything you can do to expedite the processing of my application and if approved, so that I can make arrangements to resume school by the indicated deadline, would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

My dear, still on background check. Eligibility review hasn't even started but you know this might not be indicative of inaction.

My school has told me to notify them once I receive a response from CIC. So I'm awaiting a positive response.

I strongly believe this week we will all get a response.
