What i will say is this; Chelsea became popular with the explosion of dstv and viewing centres in Lagos around 03-06, and this was during the mourinho era. Arsenal were still very much title challengers around this time, so I doubt we mopped up their fan base. What do you mean people don't read?

What is his problem with the rumours? He is saying that he isn't comfortable having four managers in six years at Man utd, and that maybe something is wrong with those at the top. I agree that we have some problems, and I understand that the board is trying to get a TD.

But what I disagree with is to retain Mourinho till we sort out the issues. I have said it several times that we need to appoint a caretaker manager till say January or end of the season when we would have been able to get a TD, then both the TD and Woodie can go look for a young manager that can take us from next season for say another five years or so.

Or betterstill, we adopt the 'hire and fire at will approach' that the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid have adopted over the years. Maybe football has moved away from the time when you'd have a manager manage a team for 10 to 20 years.

Interesting that Mourinho still stays in a hotel. Maybe he wants to see out the 'Third year syndrome' before buying a house at Manchester.

My point exactly, When you win the trophies, who will remember how many coaches you have employed? See Madrid na, how many coaches dem sack before them win the champions league three fncking times in a row, When they were naming them European Champions for the third time, Who say, "oh, they have employed too many managers that's why they are this successful" Nobody cares anymore
