GuyWise: I nearly went mad, when I joined that their facebook page. They are real faces. You can virtually go through their profiles and see their family members. So the option of deluding oneself that they are impostors , to make one feel better doesn't exist. It was a rude awakening. For days, my head kept spinning. I nearly went mad. Such undiluted toxic hate, towards Ndiigbo I saw in that Ikwerre facebook page, Yorubas and Arewa people in NL have not even exhibited half of it. Choi! Now you talk about it, it looks like I'm reliving the experience again, I guess I had not fully recovered from the post traumatic stress of that experience. It changed who I'm forever. I came out of it a different person. I became cold and blunt, in the way I handle issues involving Igboid groups in SS. I think, every single Igbo person should try and join those Ikwerre groups. The feeling is better felt than told or imagined. 6 Likes |

Purehuman: Where i take fear Ikwere hatred of Igbos, is the way Wike nearly finished that Igbo speaking Militant group of Don Wanny. Even followed one of them to Enugu. Okorocha had to step in to save them. Now, wat stop Wike from doing same to his Ikwere or even Kalabiri Militant who are more in numbers? 1 Like |

hammer6F: Leave Don wanny and his Ogba people. Those ones hate for Igbo, Ikwerre Igbo hate is child's play to compare to Ogba Igbo hate. In Ogbaland, they don't sell lands to Ndiigbo. It's a community wide decision, borne out of deep seated resentment for Ndiigbo. Don wanny isn't different from his Ogba people. His death was deserved and has nothing to do with Ndiigbo. I was surprised he was in Enugu. Ogba call us Isoma too. And they say it in condescending manner. Yes, I'm in Ogba facebook forums. Nope! I'm not jobless. 8 Likes 1 Share |

hammer6F: The only problem I have with we igbos is our lack of a cohesive front. These people we love to romance see us as a side-chick at best. They will love lick the feet of others but try to form hardness when it comes to dealing with us. I was stunned when I saw Wike licking the feet of sultan and other northern leaders. He doesn't see us the way we see him. But we are here chanting his name all over nairaland because he bears Wike. Ndigbo should map their territory well and start doing something about creating a livable economic epicentre for us all because we don't have friends in this country. We can keep fighting ourselves till "thy kingdom come" but the present situation will still linger. 6 Likes |

pazienza: The Ikwerre, ogbas and ekpeye people are the same people. Their educated ones didn't read about hatred in schools because they even show it more. If we will ever make a head start towards development, we should stop fantasy and face facts. 2 Likes |

[quote author=Purehuman post=71840557] I joined an Ikwerre group on Facebook. The way they took turns in insulting Igbo, you will be forced to slap one of them. Some even said they prefer to marry Hausa than marrying Igbo from southeast. Stop living in fools paradise, those guys do not love us one bit.[/quote This people are very igbo phobic... But their girls are dieing for us 1 Like |

hammer6F: Nke anyi bu nke Anyi. I tell people that Ph is the future Jerusalem. The Ikwerres and Ijaws have a score to settle over the ownership of Ph. Ndiigbo must do well to stay away from it, and let them sort themselves out, when the time comes. We should stop allowing groups who naturally are enemies to each other, use shared hate for us to find a middle ground for fake unity. We must deny them the opportunity for that fake unity, by staying away from the equation. And the way we do this, is via "Aku luo uno". Even wise men like Obi of Onitsha are singing the same song. Aku must luo uno. And part of Aku ilu uno, is by ensuring that we invest in key infrastructures in Igboland, whose absence in Igboland could make us dependent on non Igboland. For example, we must reject violently, attempts to sell Ph airport as a substitute to Enugu international Airport. That's how we win this war, ndi nkem. 8 Likes 1 Share |

hammer6F: I told my uncle in 2005 when I did my IT in the state at the time. My uncle was building his house there and I was his part time engineer there. I saw first hand how they discuss issues and when they mention the name of my uncle, the look on their faces were not welcoming at all. I didn't pay attention to those details because I wasn't really into politics and nationhood like I am today. Even my friend then was always critical of me whenever I say they are igbos because they spoke a dialect of Igbo. He will always make it evident that he didn't like being called one and that he wasn't Igbo. Yes, Ikwerre have oil and some multinationals in their domain but they not indispensable. They will not go with the ijaws because those ones do not like them either. 1 Like |

pazienza: So true... That airport Federal Government site in Port Harcourt is a trap to lure Igbo to Port Harcourt, just as Ijaw and Ikwere are about to settle ownership. Igbo have long moved on from Port Harcourt. We look at the place with disgust and treat it with contempt. Port Harcourt is rubbish. 7 Likes 2 Shares

hammer6F: Ogba people have been trying so hard to infest Ohaji/Egbema parts of Imo state with their cultism. Places like Awarra in Ohaji are now cultist den, no thanks to seeds sowed by Ogba cultists there. Rochas is trying to stop the fire from Ogba from spreading to Ohaji, Egbema and rest of Imo. 4 Likes |

Re: . by Purehuman(m): 6:20pm On Oct 06, 2018 |
This is why I get angry when we engage in unnecessary arguments because it will not change anything in the long run. If one says he is igbo, let them be and if he isn't, it should be his problem. We have the advantage to not being spoiled by crude too much and it has given us the capacity to be multi-dimensional. We can use this opportunity to develop ourselves and sell quality humans to the world with rich human endowment while they keep selling the earth crust to the world. Since they are still in the belly of the oily cow, we can make them dependent on us forever in other sectors of the economy. What we need is a concise effort at making this a reality. The best time to leverage on these politicians is when they are seeking for offices. We need to start building a system that will not fail. We need to infiltrate the political ranks and file and change things in our favour. I don't like the way things are going and we do nothing about it. An excellent educational system that will churn out quality graduates that can handle projects, construct roads, automobile, houses, etc are what we should be looking at. We should be able to bury commerce in our deep pockets by now and let the entire Africa depend on us. That is what we should be looking at and not unnecessary bickering. There's no time seriously. 5 Likes 1 Share |
