You know this is not true. Maduewesi is an IPOB member, and all Igbos pay homage to Nri, because it's through Nri they derive their Igbo Jewish believes from.
Nnamdi Kanu pays homage to Nri, as do all his followers and supporters, because, Nri/Eri today are the only traditional stools in Igboland, officially upholding the Jewish origin of Ndiigbo, and this resonates well within the IPOB hierarchy.

However, Nnewi as a people, don't pay homage to Nri. They are not of Nri stock.
