Such is life classmate. If it's the other way round dont you think it would have been bloody?
That is one aspect of "Uncertainty" being referred to in Prof's "trading wisdom book". It is well. grin
Truth is, only lucky few that didnt have it in their portfolio will actually make gain with the rise in price considering the height of the story building it was falling from before. smiley

Business is all about risk. Calculated risk. Fcmb look good to go. Their NPL and other ratios balanced well. But the so called heavy seller made pple entertain so much fear.
Any way the bull in fcmb doesn't seem like one that would last for too long. They can reenter at 1.65- 1.7

I hope you made such calculated risk too, seeing all stocks that performed well shedding price daily. tongue
Those that sold might have their reasons for selling too.
Imagine someone with 5M unit of diemond @1.30, calculate his loss as of today. Now imagine same person having 3M of FCMB with all uncertainties surrounding the result, do you think such will not panic sell his holdings?
It's only large investors whose sole aim is to invest, not minding any outcome can wait to see what FCMB was cooking o, or those with lion heart. grin

Don't use diamond as example, use fidelity instead. Mist of us entered at average 1.6. Since then it has moved up to 2.08. Even with the shedding we are not in any loss. The most important thing is entry price. My stop loss on fidelity is 1.70, and that is not even a loss. [s]My transcorp is presently at my purchase price 1.11[/s]

The rally might not be more than 2-3 days. It cant pass N2 around this time.
It will still come down - considering the market situation now. My opinion though.

I used diamond cos of the word "panic sell" used.
Someone in Fidelity, who is not in loss, who also has a lion heart can still afford to take the risk.
Transcorp 1.10 now ...ok you're right, back in 1.11 now tongue

Why would anyone blame Vetiva? Vetiva is in this business to make money. Everyone on his/her own..... Why would one believe Transcorp was headed for the moon when Vetiva made those recommendations? We have to be realistic most times. There are stocks you can always predict their movement. Transcorp is one of them. After all euphoria, they always head back to around it's current position. Transcorp will still take off again. I believe they have packaged their proposed oil exploration as the next catalyst and after a couple of months, will still return to it's rightful position.

Many here are too emotional about these stocks. Lol.

What would a man gain to win an online argument temporarily and lose money in real life?

I still don't understand the mindset behind buying something up at 1 naira, then panic selling when it drops to 80Kobo, when everything about said company has always been the same.

My conclusion is that buy low sell high is easier said than done. And why? Because people don't properly vet their investments. If they did, they should be happy to buy more at a drop in price. The only reason I wouldn't buy a bag of food, I usually buy at 10K for less that price is probably because even though I have the money I have a feeling that bag of food is low quality or not good at all.

My conclusion is the bear market will continue for a while. There might be small Christmas yanga/short term bull but this bear will still cover it up.

It's 65k now, lots of manipulations/confusions going on there. They were just playing with numbers anyhow.....
Maybe there's going to be an announcement or something, we wait and see.
