Mr Gate of hell has never hide his hatred toward Buhari for a second but with recent economy problem which leads to reduction in tithes and others it is expected of him

If rumours goes for a long time without been refuted, people might take it as the truth. What the man of God asked is that the Government should make a statement regarding the rumours, which they did within 24hours, though in a foreign land. I don’t see anything wrong as a citizen to demand accountability from your Government.

... and I wish to ask. How does He reading a newspaper article to the hearing of all and afterwards commenting become treasonable? I noted that He went ahead to comment the obvious, we simply need to rise up and take a stand. No one should take the nation and specifically the BODY OF CHRIST for granted... it is as simple as that.

theifs and criminals are taking the nation for granted and they expect sane minds to seat idly by? God forbid. I am sure only a few were able to watch the video, how can they? When the people have been impoverished?

Bishop David Oyedepo stated the truth - hard and bare. You like it or not does not change the fact that the Christian Church in Nigeria has already taken a stand. By February 2019, we shall see the result.
I wish we could actually do this vote a Christian vs Muslim thing , then you will know how flawed your statement is . Christians turning their bible upside down for a Fulani Muslim . Pathetic

Can someone provide a link to an extended version of this video please. I am certain the Bishop was asking if you had all become fools who'd believe your President can be replaced by a clone called Jubrin reported on the backpage of a newspaper.

I know you are a APC member... so I will not give you that space to fool yourself (not me). Oyedepo had nothing to do with 2015 election, he was against it. It was Adeboye who masterminded that theatrics in 2015.

If you think Nigerians who are starving will support Buhari, If you think Nigerians who have lost loved ones will support Buhari, If you think there is no God in heaven to hear the cries of Nigerians... Then you just signed your misfortune because we are about to show you what the power of collective effort and togetherness can do...

Me us at the polls...
Stop getting too religiously emotional lol. Same oyedepo that was talking about opening the gate of hell in 2015. You and your silly oyedepo will be put to shame again in 2019. By then you can move to the Vatican City

If that is partisan to u sorry.

Which one is Christians are being killed?. Nigerians are being killed!. Do d bandits discriminate between Christians, Muslims or whatever religion?.
Ar d killers of d 2 clergymen & 17 Church goers in Makurdi not Christians?. I'm a Christian but I know that our problem shouldn't be viewed thru narrow ungodly perspectives.

I have never supported the killings of neither Muslims or Christians. Events in history have shown where Christians were being recklessly killed and Sm so called leader cud not condemn it, speak up against it or calm it. Sm even spoke when Muslims were killed bt kept mute when Christians were killed. That is absolutely wrong. The facts are everywhere to verify. That is my point.

He warned before the elections that if we vote for buhari that the gates of hell will be opened on nigeria.People criticized him but what happened thereafter .Nigeria experienced the kind hardship a lot of people had never heard in the country's history that police now patrol third mainland bridge to prevent people from committing suicide..prices of comoditities tripled in markets without a commensurate increase in income.Millions of jobs were lost and there is no money in circulation.Youths dying in thousands in libyan deserts.Hitherto middle class families jumping into canada for asylum from US visit ect. They now pay graduates 30k through npower to come and defend their government online..smh.All these happened under 4 years

Thank you my Brother. You succinctly summarized the hardship that Buhari brought to this country!

So many ediots are now littering nairaland with senseless calumny of persons opposed to Buhari, just because of paltry 30k they receive as BMC stipends!!

My brother,

The worst thing is that 99% of the people abusing Oyedepo are fellow Yorubas.

I wonder if they are aware of what Buhari did to Awolowo and how they even took FCT from the SW.

I don't even understand the type of education they have in the SW.

All of you who peddle this sh*t are irredeemably stupid. You are the fake Christians the bible keeps harping about. David was the king of isreal (equivalent of modern day president, more powerful even), and was called a man after God's heart. Elijah & Elisha were in direct conflict with the king and queen of the Israelites in their time and you didn't give up. Moses went up against the president of the world in his time (Pharoah) and you sing his praises till tomorrow. The most baffling is that your vice president today is a pastor!!! And you are so utterly shameless as to turn a blind eye to that!! Having the audacity to tell another man of God to stop talking politics, all because you don't like what he has to say. To you and your ilk I say, go to hell and burn to nothingness!!! Foo*ish fo*ls.

Bro, can you honestly compare Oyedepo with any of the prophets of the Bible who challenged the authorities?

Oyedepo is evidently bias, which was never the case with the prophets of old. It is not hard to see that Oyedepo supports PDP. He is involving himself in partisan politics. The prophets of old never did that. They had no personal affiliations. They could challenge anybody. I am still waiting for Oyedepo to challenge PDP for their years of mismanagement.

Lastly, Israel of old was very different from Nigeria. Israel was a theocracy so it was expected that prophets would meddle with the authorities.

However, Nigeria is a secular state. It is best if men of God stay neutral. They should condemn evil and wicked acts without taking sides with one political party against another.

I'm a member of his church but Bishop he's taken the case of Buhari too personal. If we have to go by his assertion there are so many things that have been written about him in print. In one of his interviews he did said, he has read so many negative things about himself and the ministry but he has no time to be replying them and he buttressed it by saying "a person people are looking at, doesn't look". That he doesn't have time to be replying unfounded rumours.
Now, should we by his logic believed all negative things said about him in the past in the newspapers and the one said by one Erelu Circulated on tape and video that she was the one that helped him to get power.
I think Bishop need to soft pedal and continue to pray for the prosperity, security and unity of the nation.

Of course! You can't see anything wrong with the video because to you and to the pastor involved "you don't support APC", well, me too, I don't see anything wrong in a man of God trying to have a say on issues concerning the state of the nation, but I have issue with pastors trying to misuse their positions to brainwash their congregation because they have complete trust in them, I mean this is the same man who is the source of the islamization agenda conspiracy theory, ask any average member of that church their opinion on this they will tell you how their 'papa' have seen this long ago and if you think you can't be brainwashed, look at that congregation and think again. Just recently someone posted a status on WhatsApp that 'God of this mog is at work in Nigeria, that just two days gone in their seven days fast things are happening in Nigeria' then I asked the fellow if the price of garri has dropped or the fuel pump price crashed because I had been offline, but the fellow said their is confusion in 'their' camp, that their islamization agenda is failing! Obviously that's a reference to the decamping escapades of the politicians fighting for their political future, that is how far the words of the MOG can go in the life of the members. My disappointment in this present case was that, in the article he read from, the author was clearly using humour to ridicule the idiot that started the buhari/jubril conspiracy; u can find the article here:

yet the mog was emphasizing the author's use of the word "authoritatively"!

I hope he will realise his error and do the needful before some of the members start bombarding innocent minds with nonsense.

You are very insincere. Buhari is not the one oppressing you, rather you are being oppressed by the atrocities of your past leaders whose sins you chose to eulogies and condemned those of others who are not of the same religion, ethnic background or political party with you.

Talking about Muslim cleric talking, how many times have you heard a Muslim cleric abandoned his teachings to meddle in politics the way our men of God do? Especially this man being discussed here. He has made buhari his sermon every time he stands up to preach.

In case you and him have forgotten, our bible which he profess admonishes him to pray for our leaders and not the way he has been going. So why can't he obey God by culminating in prayers with his congregation for buhari.
Did I hear you say, your family is being oppressed by past leaders?
You, my friend, are dumb!!!

Errmm...Nigeria's secularity is only on paper. In reality, we are a multireligeous society and there's tons of evidence to back that claim everywhere you turn. I haven't read or heard you take the same stance against Fr. Mbaka.

Also, I believe you would expect these pastors to stand against injustice, wouldn't you? I also believe that you know that they are also Nigerians like you, and reserve the right to air their views on political issues affecting the polity, many of whom are his congregants.

Celebrityblog:
Tosin Adeda, Deputy Secretary of Digital Media Practitioners has questioned the problem respected Winner's Chapel Bishop, David Oyedepo has with President Buhari.

He's asking because the Bishop is seen as always Criticising President Buhari's administration. This question comes after Bishop Oyedepo spoke about the many rumours trailing Buhari, "Buhari's death, Buhari Double and Jubril from Sudan impersonating Buhari"

Tosin Adeda asks:

"What exactly does Bishop Oyedepo have against President Buhari, this obsession is getting ridiculous..

Is Buhari all he preaches about now?"

The man is a disgrace to the Church, instead of preaching peace and tolerance his sermons are often loaded with bigotry and tribal/religious hatred - many of them are captured on youtube.

He is lucky that PMB is a tolerant president - others would have had him arrested for incitement.
