Let your league one players come and play in the NNL and NPFL na If them go survive. What of the plethora of players in those lower leagues that we will never ever know. Make dem dey do thier physicality etc for there. They still have to cut it at the top to prove themselves.

komekn:

Why would anybody expect that of Nigerian players to go to lower leagues of English football.

Firstly,, work permit rules wouldn't help matters.

Secondly, not all would survive the physicality and intensity of these leagues. I remember watching Elohor Ekpolo at Fleetwood Town struggling to get games or make an impact. A guy who spent almost a decade at Barcelona and played Barcelona B.

It's not pretty, technical pass and move football. It's not pretty and nice it's blood and guts, he was essentially lost.

Development is about maintaining and developing consistency at a top level. Maybe because in my time l have seen so many players promise and not deliver. So I am usually cautiously optimistic. I rarely hype and if I do there must be evidence over a period.

Ages ago l talked about Mousse Dembele as being exceptional it was alleged l was his uncle. Lol by some here.

Jerome Sinclair was one of the youngest to ever play for Liverpool. I admit that's it's very difficult for a young player to get opportunities in Liverpool. However, if you do your considered exceptional.

Well Jerome Sinclair was sold to Watford for £5 million a few years ago, I never rated him then, now he is struggling in league one with Sunderland

You have deviated from the substance of the discourse. The erroneous impression BascoVanVeli was trying to give, is that it's easy for any young player to walk into league one and excel and walk straight into the first team

Which is simply not true.

That's what I tried to explain but you have perceived something different.

In that context it's very much harder to play technical proficient skillful football, when you are surrounded by carpenters and farmers ready to break your legs and split open your head and who can't past the ball on the deck properly.

It's in that context my comments are made and examples given. That if you can cut it thier then the EPL will be your next stop.

The most technicality proficient and unpredictable Engliish players in current times have been birthed from predominantly from the lower leagues not the academies.

Let me tell you something about lower league football.

You can call it carpenter football or farmers football, it's not very technical but it is fast, brutally physical and intense.

It's very very very hard for a player to play on the deck, technical and skilful football in that league. You will get kicked and dragged and bullied. The referees are not that good and the pitches are not the best. In addition your team mates often want the ball in the air not on the deck.

However, if you can still be a stand out technically proficient and skilful player under those circumstances. I can assure you, when you get to the EPL you will be flying.

That's why Dele Alli could leave MK Dons and straight to first team for Tottenham and same season England senior team. I can give numerous examples.

please has the Super Eagle Boss given Ebere Eze a Call to the National team?

Decent game for Iwobi... Helped create that arsenal goal...
But seriously he needs to learn how to shoot.. For a forward, his shoot per game ratio is quite low....
