From day one, my aim was to graduate with a good grade even though I know I would not do a 9-5.
I'm definitely going to get a degree, I was just thinking of switching to open uni because my present CGPA looks like a lost cause/course
If I gain admission to another uni, I'm switching to a very simple course, maybe entrepreneurship/marketing

There are some professions he cannot do anything there without a University degree e.g Law Medicine. So to be any of these 2, he has to go back to school and face his studies

And Business is not an option because you are not doing well in school, its even harder to succeed in business than in school, So if you don't have a track record of success in that business before now, it will probably be a waste of capital

Imagine he sources/borrows 10M to invest in the business and kaput?

Going into business is another dimension.
The same formula that made you a millionaire can make you pauper in less than a year due to external forces.

I absolutely loathed school. I still do.

School throws a lot of things at you, that you most likely do not care about, but have to remember and vomit in an exam.

Business is a completely different beast- The number of dropouts doing a madness in the business world is proof that the so called easiy school formula may actually be a lot harder for some business magnates.

As hard as you think School is, It has a formular that will work. I can tell you study 4hours per day, avoid social life, treat past questions if you have a strong background you are guaranteed success

Try that with Business

The number of school dropouts doing great in business is a myth, Its simply selecting the exceptions and making it the rule

Do you know how many of these dropouts are living in penury at the moment? Rather they will only tell you about Gates, Zuckerberg etc

All the top companies that failed in business Do you know how many 1% Harvard MBAs they have? Do you know how many yahoo, Lehmann Bros, etc employed, Plus the business turnaround consultants they hired every year, from Accenture, BCG, Mckinsey etc yet didnt stop them from failing

Business fail for any number of reasons no doubt, but for some people, sales are more intuitive than PN okeke.

Just because someone found school hard, doesn't mean that they may find running a business equally difficult.

When we were in University, After out year 4 IT, we came back and many of us made decent money for an Undergrad. While most of us invested it in alcohol, clothes and tushing your room or even buy a car, I had a friend who told us the 80K he made from IT he will use as the bedrock of his business and become a millionaire

He disciplined himself so much, I remember him telling me that why do you need to eat meat? Its just wasting money that could be invested, "Dayo, You are already an adult, you dont need much proteins to grow like children, yet you buy 3-4meat drink beer, and 8hrs later you go shitt am throway and N500 gone"
He started with phone kiosks, later computers doing business center, later cyber cafes later agriculture buying from Village selling in cities.

By the time we were in NYSC just 2yrs later he has turned the 80K to over 6M. By that time he looked like he was the wise one and we are extremely foolish juveniles

After school he continued his business never applied for any job. like 4yrs later the same business he grew up to over 15M crashed and left him with Zero

He almost ran mad
