Indeed! Imo,the the problem is sociocultural. Here we're too comfortable as things are,tbh,content to muddle along in a situation we've become used to-we lack a sense of urgency because we're in a mental state defined as a comfort zone:

a situation where one feels safe or at ease.
"the trip is an attempt to take the students out of their comfort zone"
a settled method of working that requires little effort and yields only barely acceptable results.
"if you stay within your comfort zone you will never improve

That's why people clap when Atwoli, the national representative of those to benefit from Uhuru's efforts to fix Kibera once and for all sabotages the project with injunctions. Its why when a long overdue Nairobi water supply project begins idlers,homos and loudmouths weaponise the media to stop the project.

There is nothing to be jealous about.

Apapa port in Lagos has an install capacity of 1.2million teu per year. Handles 25million tons of cargo per year.
What is that of Mombasa?

Anyway even if Mombasa handles more than apapa, that's because you have no other option. Apart from Mombasa port which other active port do you have?
