There is nothing you can do about it. It's an HR assessment of an individual. No HRM wants to hire an inappropriate individual-organization fit. It's rubbishes the whole process of recruitment. This is why we need to be on our best when going for employment interview.

An HR can dismiss you just because she doesn't like you due to your mien. I can tell you, a girl under review is not interested in the job to fill personal void

The employer is not serious. She should have given the lady a chance.
You employ your best prospect and not take a chance with your business to impress people.

She is not wrong though.

You can't look thoroughly satisfied with life and then expect employer to believe you have the passion.

Go and look at Jack MA during the early 2000s and see how rugged and passionate he looked.

If you don belle full, stay your house.

This sounds ridiculous but it is very real. A lady shared her experience of interviewing a rich youth corper and how she couldn’t give her the job because she felt she wouldn't be humble. Read her tweets below:Why not employ this lady based on the result of the interview?

The op is looking for cheap Labour someone with lowself esteem that would see the peanut she has to offer as gold. I hate people who exploit corpers financially or otherwise. Bleep her and her stipend paying job.

What a foolish employer. I think this employer suffered poverty until she found a job. Jealousy crept into her and she wanted an opportunity to get back at the rich who probably dealt with her and her family in their difficult moments.

She needs to be informed that in Malaysia for example, ownership of your own personal car gives you an advantage when you are job hunting. Employers actually look out and ask you if you have your own car.

In the jealous and vengeful state she rejected a potentially good worker. She stupidly jugded the book by the cover. If the young lady was so rich and powerful why then did the lady need the job?

One day this wicked lady might lose the job that she has used to turn herself into a tin god. What will happen if she goes in search of another job and finds this same lady in the position of the employer?

This same attitude by d op spans across almost every sphere of life in Nigeria.

People don't ever wish u to have more or look better than them. There's this inbred jealousy that emanates from them if u do, and they transfer their aggression on u like u are d cause of their problems...it is applicable everywhere in Nigeria.

The worst part of it is that if u do not appear to care about them or how they feel towards u, they tag u as being proud and u automatically become an enemy as well.

Almost everyone is cursed and frustrated in Nigeria...take it from me.

I agree with your words 100% Bro. The very sad truth about this part of the world indeed. That Jealousy and seeking for their fellow Man's downfall mentality is very scary and horrible.
It prevails in the mind of almost 99 percent of Nigeria and Africa.
Once they see you a step ahead of them they feel threatened seeing you shine and they are always in the lookout foer you to get destroyed or unfortunate one way or the other.
It hurts realizing i found myself in this part of the world truly. I just pray God takes me to where I truly belong...Europe indeed. Holland, Norway, Poland or Sweden is where I would love to raise my children and spend the rest of my life. Still a dream I am working on but i know it will surely become a reality soon.

Amen.

Sorry, but I refused to employ someone cos they were already exhibiting the rich spoilt kid syndrome out the door.

Head of HR was like why? I was like It's my department, I need teachable, go-getting, malleable rookies.

Being rich is not the problem, it's allowing it to affect your attitude to people and not having a requisite work etiquette.

33% of bosses know within the first 90 seconds of an interview whether they will hire someone.
* When meeting new people, 55% of the impact comes from the way the person dresses, acts and walks through the door.
* 65% of bosses indicate that clothes could be a deciding factor between two almost-identical candidates

An interviewer is not there to make new friends.

What if the car isnt hers probably her bf or parent? Cos she is associated with rich people or from rich home means she is unemployable? Of course not, she sees working as the right thing and would be committed to it. If not she would have banked on the owner of the lexis with covered number plate.

The employer felt intimidated period!
