mcobex: Good morning bro, Since I was denied in 2017,I lost interest in travelling to Canada for study because it takes a long time to get a decision on visa application. But now I am ready to try again, I want to do GIS in my Pgd at Niagara College. Or can you suggest a nice university that can accept a 2.2 of 3.16 cgpa in environmental management related course. 2 Likes |

StacieG:I have gone through your profile and there's nothing wrong in it. These VOs are humans and sometimes have a bad day, so it is very possible your application got to a VO on one of his/her bad days. I bet if you apply again with same profile you will get your TRV, this time try to include LOE(letter of explanation). In this letter draw the attention of the VO to the reasons they denied for you and let them know you have all those ticked (even in your last app). Good luck in your next app. NB: I have seen so many cases where people are denied and they reapplied(without adding or removing any document) and are given TRV. Don't touch anything in your present profile, don't 1 Like |

ifechez:I can't suggest any university, but I know most universities pay more attention to your last 2 years or so in the university (so don't be too bothered about your 2.2). Use Google to search for schools offering your proposed course, then you can email them to know more about their admission process and requirements. Good luck |

Hello fam, I was denied a US visiting visa reason because of the VOs decision, I am working towards applying for Canadian study visa. Now, my question is, will my US visa denial affect my Canada study visa application.? Please the gurus in the house should kindly throw more light on this. And also advise me on what to do in such a case. Thank you. |

It doesn't have anything to do with your TRV, as long as you declared that you were once denied a visa when applying for your Study Permit. Good luck Silin: |

Kevweolomu: Hello Kevwe, There will be no need given the presence of the already stated "proof of funds/financial" documents but if such documents of investment is easily accessed, you might as well include it for some added credibility to your app showing also a clear additional "source of funds" |

ifechez: You stand a better chance applying to colleges but if you have extra funds outside your total app budget, then you can apply to some colleges & unis expanding your chances |

kristlike: My apologies for responding late. Yes, you need to provide additional proof of financial support aside the Graduate Assistant job that was awarded to you for your studies in Canada. With that said, I would suggest you get a sponsor (father, mother, brother, sister, uncle or aunt) to finance your flight itinerary to and fro, and other expenses that may arise during your stay in Canada. The objective of having a sponsor is to prove to the Visa officer that your family members are well off and established in Nigeria and you will not be a burden to the Canadian government. |

Obabori1: My post you've just quoted has solved the concerns of the visa officer stated on your GCMS note. Please take your time to study it effectively. Should you require further guidance, you can quote my post here, and I will respond at the earliest possible time. |

Gtessy: I'm sorry to hear your study visa application was refused and the excruciating experience you had with the agent that handled your previous application. You're certainly free to share me your GCMS note and I will be happy to advise you appropriately. Amen! Thanks for the best wishes. |

An Agent that you probably used and he did a a bad Job, if not , I don't know where you got the idea of submitting the entire documents you listed here, ... Let me tell you something here and now, "you have not really said the truth". StacieG: |

Irrespective of funding, you will show your capacity to take care of your yourself as if the funding wasn't Involved. If normally 1Million is required for your schooling and feeding, ... You will be expected to show atleast 500k in your SOA. It is a good opportunity though, try not to complicate the whole process of application by Raking documents here and there. Schonebaby: |

Guys, Must a student write an English language test before getting a visa for Canada even after his school has waived the test and gave him admission? Will Embassy still demand the test result? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Frankrobbn1: 1:05pm On Feb 14, 2019 |
Chidon40: NO you don't need an English proficiency test result prior to applying for a Canadian study visa. |

Some of the great guys i met here in 2017.... @jnyuwa02 @Frankrobbn1 Wasn't rosy at first because i always disagreed with what they say often... Do this.. Do that... Oga Ade, but you never get this Visa Now? I have never met a matured reply like @jnyuwa02 , Instead of coming for me, he slowed down and pacified my frustration, he automatically sent me on therapy, changed me from the original perspective. @frankrobbn1 won't even reply me, i was always looking for his trouble, ... na Visa we dey find, why everybody come serious like this? Rejection came , I went berserk, stopped reading the entire page, then when i opened it after after 2 weeks i saw a guy who came to give his testimony, he submitted and application with 1m balance mistakenly, and he was meant to have like 20Mil to apply, he got his visa. I applied again the next day. I am not an agent, though a lot of people send me mails asking to pay for me to do stuffs for them, ... the truth is that many people don't feel they have to be sincere, and i tell them i only work sincerely, i can't help you to kill your future. |

Schonebaby: Yes, you need to provide additional proof of financial support aside the funding that was awarded to you for your studies in Canada. You can possibly include a personal bank statement that will cover your flight itinerary to and fro and other miscellaneous expenses. 1 Like |
