I wonder if she really believes all these she writes.
I see it as her keeping up appearances.
Women have made money from time immemorial.
In fact it is way easier now for women to make money than many years ago.
Some organisations even pay women more while others give them more chances of employment over males.
In those 'many years ago' wealthy women who made their own money still existed.
We are human beings: those who excel do it regardless of odds.
The lazy will find every excuse except their own actions.

Interestingly, all rich women will say this same thing today; how they want young women to rise and shine, become wealthy and a force to reckon with. They - “wealthy women” will come out en masse today and throw words of encouragement like stones across the fence. But none of them - if at all a few, would allow you climb over the fence to the other side. Neither would they open their gates and let you in. Maybe becos they know it’s never as it seems and over the fence, things you may see are bloody, dirty, dangerous and very avoidable.

Apparently, the reason is that women become overwhelmed and disrespectful when they start making small money.

My babe used to be a very humble girl until she landed a good paying job. Today, I talk two, she responds with ten.

And the last time I told her twas over, she came begging.

'Women are just complicated human beings'...that, she always tells me.

I don't understand why women have to repeatedly seek adulation for things men accomplish everyday and move on.

Can't you all just make money or accomplish other things without making it seem like a competition between genders?

I mean, how are women the next wealth creators?!!!!

Of record 80% nigerian accalimed independent woman survives on male clients, either business or escort wise.
I donnt see any reason why any man should be sad or cry over any woman's success ... the ratio of successful men to women is 100 : 1 grin we are grateful o lord

Exactly.. When words like these from Linda pop up, we men are forced to go down memory lane because our gender was wired to be the alphas of humans(the sensible ones though), buh people like Chimamanda and Linda are making us appear weak to the world sometimes, forgetting if it weren't men that held the world and agreed to allow them some involvement in the financial areas of life, there is every possibility women would still be relegated to the kitchen year in, year out. So, you see where the problem lies?

I like how you understood it shouldn't be a competition something, rather each gender should try as much as possible to contain each other.

Women have always been the wealth creators.

They are the ones created with dignity. Little wonder even God Himself saw the man was not complete without the woman.

But today, women will rather play the victim. They will expose their bodies freely, jump to some millionaires bed cos the man offers money.

Remember that you were created to check the excesses of the man rather than to contribute and encourage it. You are a solution, not the trouble.

Shout out to every woman with dignity in a world that no more values it.

Happy Women's day.

Really?

This woman comes off to me as dumb.

Can she explain the meaning of "New Wealth Creators?"

Men have been creating wealth for years, no stories. A woman becomes rich, it becomes a major achievement.

Boooommm!!! She becomes a motivational speaker, demazes fellow women, becomes a man basher, and a King.

Isn't that foolery?
You need to understand that women find pleasure in self appraisal, whether they're worth it or not. Men have always been silent achievers. It's natural. Instagram and all social media, the place of the manifestation of women's 'Kingly' virtues is a man's work. We don't even remember his name sometimes. Same platform that made Jenner a billionaire at 21. You see, men are the owners and secret controllers of all world systems but they need to make women feel important and involved, so they stay in the background. Without them however the system would not exist. Women as the new wealth creators is a good thing, if all women would follow suit. Men also want to rest. But unfortunately for every Ikeji or Nnaji there's always a Shyngle or a Maheeda. So while women build legacies, others tear it apart. It's all back and forth at the end of the day. So don't be upset when these lovely creatures throw it in our faces. We have a duty to make them feel goof about themselves.

In this our generation? My fren talk well.. every girl I’ve hookup wit has either turned me to her ATM or provider... slay queen n normal girl’s alike... after day 2 na billing go follow up, no matter how much u give them it’s never enough, I met a girl December after my surgery, I lodge at a hotel to recover before travelling back home, spent 170k in less than 2 weeks on her minus the hotel foods, drinks n mall foods we ate... but she still have the nerve to text me that her brother dat came to visit was asking if her boyfriend takes care of her n she didn’t know wat to say! Na once I kick am lost! So tell me how girls fund us? Which babe fit send 50k to guy just for up keep?? U better keep ur mouth shut! 95% of ladies now r prostitutes or gold diggers
