Please, help a sis! while I was filling my WES app form ystday,I saw a place where am to fill my name as it's on my degree certificate, but my name was not spelt correctly(FUNMBILAYO instead of FUNMILAYO) and I was given "TO WHOM" to back it up then, but while filling it, I spelt my actual name. And secondly,my third name is Oluwafunmilayo but on my Neco d initials was written as F. While d initial on my degree certificate was O. I hope dis won't be a problem
Sis, I don't even know the answer to your question but I just had to reply you. You've been patiently reposting your question, no annoyance, no rant, just copy it from the previous page and paste on the current page grin
That being said, I think you have nothing to worry about. Complete your WES profile using your correct name, they will figure out that it's a typo

Hi
Please I really need advice, who should be the principal applicant
Me
Age-34
Degree (pgd ,bsc)
Spouse
Age-29
Degree-bsc
Note- I am the one with the basic funds, and we are not yet married, till September 2019.
Thanks
You should be the PA. Unless Madam is willing to get an additional qualification. BSc alone won't give enough points

You did nothing wrong by not declaring a visa refusal 11 years ago. Try not to bother much on this. The bright side, your application is not just sitting there, it is currently being processed. So smile smiley

Hi Topsmamen, Could you please confirm if the Statutory questions have a 10 year limit? I thought it was any refusal or "order to leave" etc.. that has ever occurred in one's life.
Please clarify, so I make necessary changes if need be. Thank you!

WES accepts statement of result, they might accept attestation too but ICES won't accept it.

Good day everyone. Please is there anyone who used WES for BNSc and RPHN obtained during the course of their study in the university. If yes, what was the result like. Thanks

Don't give up bro/sis. I have written IELTS three times. Fantastic scores, but Listening has been short by 0.5

Getting tired is not an option. It is not over until it is over. Try to discover your weak areas and work on them. What materials do you use for studying?
Thank you madam.

I have almost all the materials but I want to concentrate on IELTSadvantage and MOD materials for writing, ieltsonlinetest.com and Cambridge materials for listening and reading.

I understand how you feel bro/sis. I felt the same way after my third IELTS. Infact, I said me am not doing again ooo but when hubby told me that so i want to leave the kids in this Godforsaken country..my brain reset. The truth is nothing good comes easy and you ll not appreciate what you have if you dont struggle to get it. This opportunity is too good to miss, so just think about the kids. This is for them and not you. So see it as an expensive investment that is worth it and when you start enjoying all the goodies...IELTS will become a story. Please dont give up...contact my oga @wasseynewest. He is the best in this field. We will testify.

Thank you so much

You just need to keep believing in yourself,

Trust me when you get to Canada, you will surely know it worth the struggle, every bit of it.

And for the sake of your kids also.

I will advise you to watch this edx tutorial on the preparation just to have another angle of how to prepare for the exam.

https://www.edx.org/course/ielts-academic-test-preparation-0
(it's only the writing part that is different from general so you can still use it for Listening, reading and speaking and a bit of writing.)

Thanks. I'll check out the site.

Just got my GCMS notes today after waiting for 4 months after AOR Oct 2018.
It shows Criminality: Passed, Medical: Passed, Eligibility: Recommend Passed, Security: Not started yet and Info sharing: In process. I am getting worried oh.
It shows details of officers requesting more information from the USA as per information sharing, this worries me since I have a visa rejection 11 years ago which I didn't include in my history since they asked only 10 years back.

Stencil:

Hi Topsmamen, Could you please confirm if the Statutory questions have a 10 year limit? I thought it was any refusal or "order to leave" etc.. that has ever occurred in one's life.

Hi Stencil. You're right. Thanks for pointing that out. The Statutory question does not specify a period as it would have included the phrase, "....in the last 10 years...." just as we have in the Personal History and Address History sections. Please check if there's the ? tool tip beside each statutory question. If there's a tip there, what does it say?

"Has Mr. X ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?" Since a period was not specified by IRCC, this means "throughout Mr X's life", has he ever been refused a visa? Emphasis on the word - "ever".

I think we missed it with @prex29. Visa refusals are not limited to the last 10 years, neither can they be declared in any History sections of the application except the Statutory Questions section.

Don't even think about giving up, just breathe and then fight again. When you're looking out your window in Canny, it will worth it.
Meanwhile, I hope you're in @Wasseynewest's IELTS school? If not, please join them there asap

Giving up is not part of the plan, I just need that push to study and write the test very soon.

Congratulations on your PPR.

My little advice: Remain patient, and positive. Ensure to have positive minded people around you, as they will be the ones to encourage you when it’s looking like you are losing faith in the whole process.
Above all, acknowledge God as the divine helper… “Nothing good comes except it’s from above”

God bless you and thank you for reading my long post!

WES will accept Attestation letter. I used it.

corpershun:

This UNILAG isn’t a university of first choice at all at all. Can you believe the MBA school omitted my results and didn’t send it to senate for approval.
Now I have no choice than to wait cos I can’t join the April convocation set and the woman was telling me “ have I not done convocation before in my life”. It was one man that just felt really sad for me cos my results have been complete since last year May. Anyway I leave them for God.
I think they allowed devil use them.

They said once senate seats again I can process my transcript.

Please do you know if Wes or ICES accepts Attestation Letter (they said that’s what they issue at MBA school) and not Statement of result?
I will be glad if anyone can reply me...thanks

Hello,

Pls, I am a bit confused and I need help. I applied for ICES ECA and I uploaded only my International Passport as PDF. I thought I would be able to go back and upload the others. I have paid for the application fee and the status is showing SUBMITTED. However, I noticed that I have another profile on my dashboard that is still showing Application Incomplete.

1. Is this the norm?
2. Can I still upload my certificate and transcripts on the other dashboard and it would have an effect on the submitted?
3. What can I do to get it to ICES?

Kindly respond as this is a bit urgent.

Thank you.
