ibrotee0: Use IQAS to evaluate your LLB only. IQAS regards your LLB as a professional degree which is equivalent to a Masters degree. This will give you points for Masters degree. WES on the other hand, will evaluate your LLB and BL degrees as equivalent to a Bachelors' degree and a 1-year PGD respectively ('two or more certificates' which has lower points than Masters). 1 Like 2 Shares |

ibrotee0: Hello, Please which is cheaper WES or IQAS? And does IQAS evaluate ICAN? |

Hollarmighty: IQAS is cheaper but slower than WES. No, ICAN is not recognized as equivalent to a Canadian educational qualification. |

Hollarmighty:IQAS is cheaper but for evaluation of ICAN go with wes. |

Topsmamen: Will IQAS evaluate ATS? Also, will they be needing my transcript or just the certificates? |

Hollarmighty: No, but WES does. Yes, get your school to send your transcripts. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by MumofTwins2017: 10:54pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
ibrotee0:It all depends on the CRS score you are aiming it. I am currently using both. With WES I sent both LLB from University and BL from Law School to get the points of ‘two or more Certificates. For IQAS the aim is for the ‘professional degree’ points. So it all depends on what you want. IQAS is way better but you have to exercise a lot of patience. It takes approximately 6months. I applied to them since December 12th and I just got the confirmation of receipt of documents this March. So my application is currently in line for processing. |

ibrotee0:It's up to you. You don't need to use both. IQAS will evaluate LLB alone and give you points for Masters. WES will evaluate both and give you points for two or more certificates. IQAS is slower but then I've also heard that getting law school to send transcripts and verify is like passing a camel through the eye of a needle. Advice; go with IQAS 2 Likes 1 Share |

Pls I need help/suggestion(s) on the following questions . I’m currently studying outside the country and I am trying to gather my documents for FSW. I served in Brass island, Bayelsa state as an Economics Secondary school Teacher (Community secondary school) back in 2011/2012 and I want to include my NYSC. 1) Regarding the reference letter, I tried contacting my AI and he told me since I was employed by the state, the school can’t issue the letter and it can only come from the secretariat. Begged him to help me make inquiries and he later reported that the secretariat is requesting that the recipient of the letter(I.e CIC) should write to them requesting for my details as a Corp member. Sent him the link where all the documents required were stated but he’s not moved. Now I don’t know what else to do and would love to include NYSC because that will increase my WE to 3yrs. 2) Just need clarification regarding this...for example, if I worked from October 1999 - September 2000. Does that count as one year or 11 months. LinkedIn states it as one year. |

I plan to visit my girlfriend who is doing nursing and she is sooo busy with school work so I'm trying to also help find a place |

Hello house. Please I am a silent reader but really appreciate all the help I have gotten so far from this group. I got an NOI from Alberta and I just want ask if I am suppose to declare that my latest US visa was revoked without any particular reason during the US visa application process of my husband and daughter. I had my child in the US but I showed them all my receipts but my visa was revoked all the same. Do I report that I have been refused visa or should I just ignore this while filling my forms. Please I really need help urgently |

Hi is your ECA sorted now? I saw your previous enquiry on WES/ECA for Houdegbe. I graduated from there as well and in the process of evaluating mine. I'd like to know your outcome. Olorunwasimi: |
