Rafa should park double decker Buses! No need to gun for Victory! A Point is enough! However, if Opportunity beckons, and they (Newcastle) draw the first Blood.

They should not go gung-ho, rather retreat behind the defence-line and shield the Kingdom from reprisal Attacks!

Up Newcastle United!!!

Ander Herrera seems to have agreed to join PSG in the Summer for free, coz United fail to accept his 200k per week demand?!

If you want to leave, biko leave,
No dey do sakara, do carry your Shoulders.

I like him, but he's not spectacular, rather average but workalcoholic. Meanwhile, thunder fire Mou and Ed for letting Sanchez maggared us!
I think it's fake news. Why would PSG want Ander Herrera?

This Salomon Rondon is very lazy.

This top four race is not a joking matter o, we need to try and get a draw against Man city, and then, win all remaining EPL games, otherwise, it won't be a good story to tell.

Newcastle had no chance, zero turn up.
The game against Man City won't determine much, it's the game against Chelsea and it's must win or that's where the problem will start.

Forget it. Arsenal won't make top 4. It's only a matter of time before they lose consecutive matches and draw the next one. It's going to be Tottenham and Manchester United.

Keep telling yourself this, don't be realistic .

Arsenal team grows in confidence with each game. They were not pundits favorites for the top four at the beginning of the season, but look at where we are. No pressure whatsoever on us . Unai brings with him element of unpredictability, always tinkering with his line up and formation, after early injury crisis, everything has come in full for him now, as he has a fully fit squad other than the three players (Bellerin, Welbeck and Holding) that are out of the season.

Arsenal will still drop points, but so will United, Chelsea and Spurs.
This top four battle is going down to a photo finish, but Unai and his boys are up for the challenge, write us off at your own peril. cool

What about a win? Are they unbeatable?

Arsenal seem to have the best and easiest run of fixtures.

United have the toughest. Will need Spurs and Chelsea to seriously falter for us to get that 4th spot.

Tough game next. Really hate playing this wolves team who only top up against the top 6.

They are beatable, but let's take care of Wolves first. I seriously doubt the success of the top 4 mission. That loss against Arsenal dented our hope. I was so pissed off mehn.

The thing is, when we play against Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea, we need to try and win those games, the advantage comes from there, even if we park bus against them and we win, makes sense.

This is not Fergie era where winning more than 75% of games against small teams guarantee you top 2 position or so. These days, top 4 and title race can only be achieved by winning games against small teams and getting reasonable points against the top 6 teams.

arsenal don't really have an easy run, because 5 of their remaining games are away games ......arsenal's form away this season has been shiiiit

they are 3 consecutive away games
against
Everton
Watford
almighty Wolves lipsrsealed

arsenal might not make top 4 .....well who knows
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Itsmedozie: 8:55am On Apr 02, 2019
I predict :
3)man united 77points
4)arsenal/Tottenham 74points(goal difference will play a part)
6)Chelsea 73points lipsrsealed

Those teams are beatable by Arsenal. Worst still, they are all mid table teams that are not fighting for relegation and don't really have chance of making it into top six for Europa.
They are basically playing for pride as it stands, the affair wouldn't be a fiesty One. Infact, it's best playing those safe mid table teams at this stage of the season, than the relegation strugglers or the league title/ UCL football fighting teams.
Arsenal will drop points, but so would United, Chelsea and Spurs.
Arsenal away form has been poor this season, but so have been out first half performances for a long period of the season, as well as our inability to keep clean sheets. But with less injuries Now, Emery has been tinkering things and we can already see improvements in our first half performances and defense.

Arsenal is currently on rich vein of form. Football is all about confidence, Arsenal has been winning away at Everton and Leceister in the past, nothing stops us from repeating same feat.
I don't see Arsenal not in top 4 at season end, as things currently stands, though I understand as rival fan, it's only normal to wish Arsenal ill, it's understandable, as I wish United ill too. Infact, I expect and wish United to lose to Wolves today sef. grin I'm a bitter rival fan after all, but common sense tells me that United at home might just have too much for Wolves to contain.

Please tone it down. He is a fan and should be optimistic about his team chances of being successful. You don't bully or take that away from him. It's unsportsmanship to do so.
The scenario he painted isn't impossible. In football, anything can happen after all. No one would have thought United would be in UCL quarterfinal and in contention for UCL slot in EPL, yet that's the reality we face today.
I don't like the way some of us discuss football on this forum with expletives thrown around. We can all throw bants around and still be civil with each other, yes it's possible, after all, none of us are being paid for supporting any club here, so why the unnecessary animosity?

Forget it. Arsenal are going to flop and drop.

The only teams Arsenal have beaten away from home since December are Huddersfield and Blackpool (FA Cup). They’ve lost to BATE & Rennes (Europa League), WestHam, City, Liverpool (5-1) and Southampton. They drew Tottenham, Man Utd and Brighton. They’ve won just 2 in 11 games. (2W 3D 6L)

Their next 7 matches?

Everton (Away)
Watford (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Wolves (A)
Leicester (A)
Brighton (H)
Burnley(A)

At their best, they won’t win more than 3 out of those 7 matches. If God intervenes then 4.
