I finished from the same department. The man was just victimized by other lecturers. My own question is why will he stay that long there and didn't move somewhere else. I'm talking of over 15 years in the same position. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Cacawa2: Not everybody is meant to be a Dr. And drs are rude to other lectures, ur student might become a doctor & you have to respect him as a superior, The best thing to do is to request a transfer to Non Academic staff so you can have a normal career progression instead of one based on research. Unless am forced, I WILL NEVER DO PHD especially in Nigeria, currently doing my MSc because I don't wanna disobey my parents & elder brothers, but even in my department I see some PHD students who spent 8 years on phd, though lecturer said they had to force him to come & finish or he will be thrown out. 4 Likes |

The only being that wins when someone commits suicide is the devil himself. There is no degree of darkness and gloom that God cannot change to brightness and refreshing dawn for those who can trust him who says "It is well with you!" It is quite disheartening that his case is somehow closed; but for those whom the old liar is still bombarding with the same old lie that they are valueless, the truth is that your value is as priceless as the blood of Christ. Sometimes, I wonder the kind of society we live in, where everything is taken at face value... Was investigations carried out to determine the cause of fire? This could have been an Arson and Murder case if only our police can bend down and do their job... Just because the man had issues doesn't mean he committed suicide...
