Guys both Affleck& Bale are great actors but just as Beorn said, its the superior storyline that made Bale stand out, in comparison to Affleck performance. Both are great, but what you have to understand is that both represents Batman at two different stages of his life,Bale being a younger version while Affleck an older version. While Bale's Batman seemed like the epitome of his characteristic was because Bales Batman was young & still believes that there is good in everyone while Affleck's version of Batman is older experienced version who understands the line between justice & crime & Affleck also had a less avenging spirit of vengeance and was more of an armchair vigilante.

Bales Batman was able to own the the character because Bale had a number of Batman movies to call his, unlike Afflecks' Batman that doesn't have a superhero movie to call his as he kept on sharing the spotlight with other superheroes, basically, he never really gets to take full ownership of the character, BVS was with Supes & WW & JL was way worst, its kinda difficult to be a definitive Batman when you’re not the sole superhero.

For now, I strongly give it to Bale, but if in the near future, Affleck is to be given the kind of opportunity( a superior standalone storyline) Bale got, there is no disputing that he's going to be the better Batman.

Fun, funny superhero movie. It was actually silly at some points but it was funny. There were plot holes and certain overused tropes but the fun will just make you happy

Affleck and DC parted ways for a reason, you know? Ben "fat boy" Affleck told the media he quit, but everyone with their heads not jammed up his fat ass are aware that DC dumped him.

I know he's got screen charisma, but don't let that trick you into believing he's talented. He's not. His bro is the real talent in the Affleck family.

Lol..well Bale is a great actor, probably one of the finest. That end statement of mine was strictly a movie postulation by me based on the works of Afleck I've seen soo far. Considering that darkness, trauma, that kinda arrogant maniac moody personality, that fascist personality Batman/Wayne's character has towards other heroes, it's basically safe to theorize that Ben would not only be perfect for a standalone movie but will do great & probably better than Bale. The bolded probably because I've seen quite a number of Afleck movies were he exhibits most of the aforementioned traits in full gear, thus, it's safe to say he's gonna be awesome.

And with the aforementioned traits of Batman/Bruce Wayne's character, listed above, someone here was suggesting that Scott Adkins could actually fit into the Batman/Bruce Wayne character.. Hmm.........

First, IMO, it isn't good comparing brothers against each other. Anyway, you're probably saying this because Ben hasn't won an Academy Award in the best actor category, a feat which his young sibling achieved in 2017, and him winning an Academy Award in the aforementioned category, truth be told is quite implausible. Nevertheless, what am trying to say is, it doesn't matter to me, that stage charisma of his is just ok for me.
And to put this out here, there are two types of act that qualifies one as being a great actor/actress, The first one being the ability of the actor to completely transform himself to the character he plays thus guaranteeing totally believability of the character he plays in the eyes of the audience. This is the standard for great acting.
Then the second one(although not popular) is dependent on the star power of that actor which is mainly based on charisma plus good acting. Not only Ben falls in the later, big shots like Dwayne Johnson also falls in this category.
