There was no message at all on my dashboard. The "your application is under assessment" thing disappeared.

if you are in Nigeria.

Lagos or Abj

You will need to go the embassy to do a finger print. They will then give you the finger print for you to post probably through DHL to the central police station in Pretoria.

Or better still, send it to a friend in Pretoria who can hand deliver the finger print to the central police station.


Wait for four Weeks and hopefully you will get the certificate.

I was based in Durban and PMB (both in KwaZulu Natal) which was far closer to Capetown and cost around 250 rands to 300 Rand on intercity express buses.

So if Jo'burg to Durban is 200 rands

I will advise he keeps close to a thousand rands 26k naira Just to be safe

He can also Google intercity express South Africa to get the latest prices
