Hello I just checked and CIMT doesn't offer courses eligible for post graduate work permit. I'll advise you to NOT apply to the school. Ok. Thanks so much I will do as you have rightly adviced. |

You shouldn't apply to a college/institution that wont refund your tuition if your visa got declined. There are other Prestigious collegew you can check. Make sure they are DLI Institutes because that's very important for post study work permit. Always familiarise yourself with refund policies of this schools so it doesn't come back to hurt you. |

DMerciful: Hello, I think Qudkom made sane points, and besides there's no need overemphasizing all through again as Frankrobbn1(hit his signature to view past posts) also made similar sane points regarding this questions. Just a chip: An affidavit, a letter from the Immigration unit, and LOE(the letter should base on sympathetic human flaws from both the PP issuer(immigration) and self for failing to peruse the details upon collection due to euphoria/excitement) would tackle this issue. Besides your friend should declare the US refusal 1 Like |

Licious9z: Hello, tbh, my advise as what I would do: For immigration purpose/sake, I won't change back to the old name given that the record is there with the US/Russia and to avoid further future complications. This step would simply ease the situation: 1. A sworn affidavit(attached to it your birth certificate to connect your mother's previous maiden name to the new name, likewise to create further clearer understanding to the names reflecting on your academic certificates) 2. A newspaper change of name 3. A letter of explanation(should be very convincing to why such action of changing your previous surname to that of your stepfather - think outside the box) 4. if your sisters also took same action, include any evidence tangible to the understanding - hint on it in your LOE as physical evidence in addition to the stated reasons. |

Good day all, Please, I applied for a 2 year course which would also make me do a one year I.T in Canada. I've paid my fees, I'm waiting for my sponsors account to be credited with about 7 million so that we can print the statement immediately and I've done my police report too. I don't want to be rejected, what do u advice me to do or what step is remaining for me to take b4 going submitting my documents, my sponsor also swear an affidavit too that he'll be responsible for my finances during my stay there. I'll appreciate immediate replies. Thanks in anticipation 1 Like |

Ancy12: Dear Sir/Ma, Your application looks good. The bolded words above are what you will work on. But to be very sure of the next thing to do, you need to request for your file. Your course is not what we see here regularly and I believe you need your file. Although, I saw someone with a similar course like your who was refused last week or so. Maybe there is more to what the VO is looking for. In conclusion, when else you submit you next application, don’t forget to add the VO in your prayers because they are humans too who can make mistakes. Order for your file ASAP. 3 Likes |

yacha77: Mine was since last year April so the rate doesn’t matter anymore. Just go to your bank and ask them the current rate. |
