The British Didn't leave there colonies with anything besides the infrastructure that was used to get as many resources as fast as they could out of the colony back to Britain. You South Africans had your entire historyless wasteland built up from scratch so white colonist could move in similar to the colonization of America and Australia. Then after your handouts got you freedom in 1994 you shack/mud hut dwellers moved into the cities they built. The whole world knows South Africa is slowly degrading anyway.
