I’m talking about Nigeria here. Does stuff happen in other countries, yes! But we have a major issue here as regards age cheating, and you and I know we were never gonna fix it.
Was there a public outcry? I complained. U complained. How many people complained? Did the authorities do anything about it? How did we react as a people? Did we boycott viewership in large numbers. Talk na one thing. Action Na another.

Danielnino00:

With all due respect Sir, you aren't making any sense here..
@ bolded u are very wrong... many people condemned the massive age cheating that used to characterise the u-17 ..

On a more serious note why do u like acting like Nigeria is the only place on this planet that sh*t happens?

I will notify goal. Thanks for the correction sir

And where is South Africa?
Icon4s:

DR Congo has only won the AFCON once.

There are two Congos: DR Congo (Congo-Kinshasa) and PR Congo (Congo-Brazaville). And they have each won the title once. And that is where I think goal.com got it mixed up.

Why not? It's a no brainer considering how decorated he is.

Lateef still has another chance next tournament. He is young. Disappointment is normal.

From what i heard about camp, Lateef did not measure up so he was dropped fairly.

Just checked his social media. He has deleted all his posts and no longer has the Nigerian flag on his profile. I guess he might be thinking of switching to the US.

I don't think, she is that good though. Lateef has a lot of potential. I hope he keeps faith and try again in the next tournament.

When we have not boycotted because of the horrendous governance we are experiencing, you want us to boycott because of some underage games

Yes, I think he's gone. I remember the last time his sister wasn't picked he threatened to quit. I hope we don't regret it in future.

He is disappointed now. When he calms down, he might try again. At the end of the day, another foreign boy Adrian Akande impressed and was selected. We can not select Lateef just to reward him. Besides, he can still try again before the world cup.

I will try to discuss with him to see, what he is feeling.

EPL teams with their wack defenses. Imagine scoring half of all the goals Aguero has scored in all his seasons in the EPL.

Messi will just be scoring for fun both in reality and in his dreams grin

Please tell me how the EPL teams have sack defenses.

Is it Vandigk that is sack, or rudiger or laporte or even injury prone Kompany?

Is it smalling, or Jones, stones or even the above average Tottenham defenders??

You're not been balanced in your criticisms.

Did messi not feature against a 6th place man-U yesterday. Why didn't he score for fun??

Messi will score ...yes because he is phenomenal and not because the premier leagues defense is wack

He probably feels hard done and it is normal to feel disappointed after being dropped for anything big or small, but he needs to see reason. He's young and still has a chance to feature in the next competition.

A lot of people complained. I remember Emmanuel Babayaro complaining bitterly about it. Keep in mind the Adokie Amiesimaka crusade against Fortune Chukwudi.

Age cheating was always fought. Just that it sailed through a lot.

Good morning cool

No. You are lying. This cannot be possible. We all know that Iheanacho has been showing his class in training and Rodgers is fully convinced that he is the best thing that happened to Leicester since N'golo Kante.

We all know that the only reason that rubbish overhyped Vardy is starting over our super talent Iheanacho is because Vardy is British. We all know that the only reason Iheanacho is not playing for Man City now is because of that racist Guardiola. Infact, if not for racism, Iheanacho would've won the Ballon d'or about three times now.

So stop posting cooked up news about Leicester signing somebody to displace Lionel Iheanacho. You and I know that can never happen. Which coach in his right senses will want to lose such a wonderful talent?. grin

From my interaction with him in the past, he is a very passionate kid. There was already some frustration when he went to the under 15 team but did not get enough playing time. It is still early days, the frustration will still be at its peak.

Despite Barca not scoring against man united

No b every time Messi go score ,Messi has failed to score against some small laliga teams most times ,Na so football be

All Man U defenders are average at best

Van dijk ,Laporte ,vetroghen, alderweird

These are the Epl best central defenders at the moment

i think someone that he trusts needs to get a hold of him and tell him to calm down. not making the U17s is not the end of the world. he's still young his time will come. he should just put his head down and work hard not have a sense of entitlement that because he's oyinbo he will just stroll into the first XI of any of our national teams. wish him well

I think Coutinho is a problem in that Barca midfield

He is blocking Messi's way of connecting with Alba, once he left Messi gained control and it was all Messi in the last minutes
