You asked for advise, to be able to understand it properly you need to start from the beginning, that's what I did. I started watching it close to the end of season 2 and I think it is one of the greatest films ever produced. I was up 2.am yesterday to watch ep1 of the eight series because I didn't want anyone to spoil it for me.

That's the only way to get into it, you will be glad you did.

GOT is a very hyped series and I believe deservedly so. But hype tend to encourage people to want to see what's all the fuss about and they might come out feeling disappointed because their expectations was already very high. Not everyone has the patience for the complex story lines and lots of character to keep up with. As they saying goes "don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to".
Stick to the Boss and Actor movies that you are used to.

ALL this low IQ Nigerian actress, i almost left at season 2, inshort i skipped some episode till epiosode 3.... i almost stopped watching when Ned stark and wife and son was killed but Arya Stark adventure kept me on...... the death of little finger by Arya made me more committed to the series. I am only watching GOT because of what Arya stark will become... it seems like i was there when she was born and still there seeing her grow to a lady...thats the joy of Got....almost all characters started as nobody and today they all look matured waiting to do bigger things.

Another mystery about GOT is about the numerous characters...so many characters, the death of one is the starting of another... there is no main actor or vilian. this is best movie i will ever watch with great anticipation from years to years just like devious maids.... I hate movies like Arrow because the movie is pointed on one person...but here the death of one person is the beginning of another . Am also waiting to see what Bran Stark will become..if Arya character fails, Bran character will keep me on, as for Daenerys Targaryen and Jon snow, i have seen all i can see about them, thier death wont shake me. But am curious about the STARKS. THE MOST PAINFUL DEATH WAS Ygritte, WISH THEY ALLOWED HER CHARACTER MORE FEW SEASONS

You are wrong, i can bet you have not watched it to season 7. I am not a movie person, a friend lured me into watching it, i almost gave up after watching few episodes but got stocked later after some episodes in same season 1. If you are dull and unintelligent, you will find it hard to be interesting and understandable. It is advisable to watch it with someone.

Uncle don't be too emotional... Movies like "The Blacklist" and "24" have a way of making you understand the huge conspiracies, intrigues and corruption in government circles.

The lady pointed out some very specific things which turned her off.from the movie and you've not tried to dispute them...Example, she mentioned incest and the abundance of sex scenes, was she wrong??
