Dear God, i tap into this testimony...please share the link to this almighty group or add me. I'm begging oooo
johnnybravo1990:

Congrats bro. I am so glad for your result. I will be humble here; when I saw your only essay sample, one day to the exam, I already knew you had writing in the bag, and that you didn’t need much guidance from me. I only gave you my blessing, and maybe one or two tips, like you said. When I see someone who will excel in IELTS writing, I know them straightaway, just by reading the their essay. If you could remember, I said you were better than me in writing, as at when I did my exam, and your result confirmed it: your 8 versus my 7.5. I’m glad you passed the other components as well. All the best bro.

No do it this way:

Marriage Certificate - upload your marriage certificate.

Legal name change doc. - upload your change of name affidavit and newspaper publication.

You can explain the gift deed tag in your letter of explanation.

ummhalimah:
Good day elders, please is marriage certificate ( registry) and news paper publication enough as proof for change of name? Also, gift deed notarized, but when money was transferred mother tagged it as (share of proceeds) does this raise any red flag. Thanks in anticipation.

I wish I could, but any general advice will not do much good. Every person’s writing inadequacies are unique, and each person needs a personal tutor to groom them, by the tutor reviewing their writing samples. However, you need to be sure your tutor is good in writing.

This journey started sometimes in 2015. I just came back to the country after my Msc. I rejoined the former coy I worked for before traveling. I got frustrated as my Msc meant nothing to these guys. I was looking for a way out of Nigeria immediately .I stumbled on this thread… not sure which part now. On checking my eligibility, i saw IELTS as one of the requirement. I just close the browser ( I dislike these exams like kilode ( IELTS, TOEFL,GMAT,SAT) I believed they are not for olodo like me.)

Fast forward to 2017, I was on one of my many technical support visit to a customer and I asked for the contact person, my resident engineer told me HIM done get Canada Green Card ooo. Me: What..wetin be Canada Green card? That thing na fraud ooo. The guy sha send me link say it’s real.

I got home, opened the mail and read through, found out its express entry and na so I jam IELST again This time I was determined (now married with a kid). I told my wife about it… madam raised concern about the funding (we had less than 500k in our account) with one building project going on. Joined the thread finally here.
WES
Na so I sha start with WES in August 2017, being a foreign degree and no waec wahala then, the ECA was ready in less than a month! Then the preparation for first IELTS. I took the exam in FEB 10 2018 and result wasn’t good. I was determined. Looking at the draw, I knew there was need for madam to write IELTS and evaluate her degree too. We started off with her evaluation which took 4 months (thanks to LASU)..
IELTS
We registered for IELTS together and preparation begins. By now I know all the tricks to this exam (so I think). We took the exam in July 07 2018 and I came short in writing by 0.5. I requested for a remark and it came positive. Very challenging period as I lost my dad here.
POF.
We got ITA in Sept 05 2018. By now we had about 3.0 M in our account. I wanted to sell our land/ building. Mother in-law said no. she contacted one of HER children (Sister In-law…. God bless her for me) though we have informed her before… Aunty wire 2M to my wife as gift. Padded we my 25%pension fund (500K) boom POF completed. God bless NewMUM for her input here. Invested the 5m in TB.. Submitted TB certificate, statement of account highlighting cash flow, gift deed. That’s all
3M… PERSONAL SAVINGS
500K.. 25%PENSION FUND
2M GIFT DEED Total 5.5m… used oando rate for the day.

NORTH CYPRUS PCC.
This one na war. The joy in me right now no reach the one I had on the day I got the PCC. See page one for details. God bless my friend in TRCN and WIP7 (My able Professor).
Medical
Booked medical ahead since we were sure of ITA ..CRS stands @445 cut off was hovering around 440-442 then. We booked with qlife and for those that remembered my daughter story. She is doing fine now.. Thanks to this wonderful family.

Reference letter.
God bless Newnum. I disturb her like kilode. Gave her my JD, she paraphrased it to and mail back. We concluded on what NOC. Now to my employer. I am one of their best staff. Knowing about my intension to emigrate won’t go well with my Oga. He might Block it. I have a very senior management staff whom I trust. I approached him and he asked me to send the letter to him. He signed and also gave his BIZ ID. Letter was notarized and backed up with LOE I added my EMPLOYMENT LETTER, PROMOTTION LETTER, TAX CARD, APPRECIATION LETTER, PAYSLIP ( THREE MONTH) . NewMum gave the go ahead. (PLEASE DO NOT USE COY LETTER HEAD EVEN IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO IT WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE NECESSARY PEOPLE IN YOUR OFFICE)
POST AOR.
Application submitted OCT 19.Then the wait begins. First was the MEP/BIL. I was happy because we came through with medicals. I also shared the good news with my family here. Got another JOB with a multinational and had to inform IRCC. Was on a business trip when request for RFRP came FEB 7 2019. Paid second day. Then ghost update FEB 16th. On 19th came a request letter (NOT PPR LOL). I was denied UK visiting VISA sometimes in 2015. This was declared in my application. CIC requested to see the letter (may be to check reason for denial). I submitted same day. Then wait continues….another Ghost Update Feb 27 2019 and today 28th Feb is PPR.. Letter dated 27.

Once again… Thanks to God Almighty the Beginning and the End. My wife for always believing in me, NEWMUM… I owe you plenty. I leave you with the atttached.

Hi Temas, huge congrats to you and your family.
I stumbled upon Swansy's post about your assistance with getting PCC from North Cyprus. Can you please point me in the direction of the agent who can assist? My sister has 30 days left to submit her PR application and the PCC from TRNC is proving elusive.

Thanks in advance

Read page 120 of this thread, that was how me and this amazing dude started o. Who would have thought. Actually that was my ielts writing debut album on this thread grin grin grin Reviewed two more task 2 scripts and by the last script, I knew the examiner go hear am grin And with @wassynewest class, it must have been a badass combination. @Johnnybravo must have given him some strong magic powder too grin Anyways, he has been practicing thoroughly for quite a while, and he didn't take the exam for granted!!! He had the success air in him already, we just inflated it with air pump grin grin grin

Tips: Send your writing drafts early on to a good reviewer to look through it. A second eye is always good.
Practice thoroughly for a while before you attempt the exam (give yourself a month at least)
Do not take the exam for granted, please be humble. The exam is tricky.
If you choose to send your draft to me, give me a week or few days at least before I can feed back, (because of work and other projects, I
need time for thorough feedback)
If you do not have time to send me or anyone your draft (perhaps because of work or a very busy schedule), watch Jay's writing videos,
his tips on structure, vocabulary and coherence are amazing. I used his videos for mine, and I am guided by his instructions when I review
drafts. I heard Liz videos are also good but I did not use her
While focusing on writing, ensure you focus on other modules too so you can max them out to improve your scores.

All the best to you as you write. You will conquer it.

Oga why not leave people try to sort out the best for themselves and mind your own success story has been narrated by you.
rentAcock:
Quite sad, so many people are excited to flee their motherland to help grow and build up a white man's land. It's just like what my friend used to say, 'immigration is modern day slavery except this time they do not have to forcibly chain able bodied men to slave ships or rape our women, they just make it easier for your youngest and brightest minds to simply emigrate in droves'. Who will build this country if you all leave, have you ever thought of that? You think once you run to Canada you will still have any reason to return home? How about your kids? Do you think by taking them to Nigeria for 3weeks vacation will entice them to one day relocate to their father land? Sure nobody thinks about these things. The biggest problem the black race has is selfishness while the white man thinks about the greater good of a community. Everyone only thinks about what will benefit them and their family and that's where it ends. Even in the so called abroad, your fellow Nigerian will not want to accommodate or guide you because they think you will be better than them. Common info about schools, work or getting certain government documents, your fellow Nigerian in the diaspora will not help you. White countries and white people In general are successful because they collaborate and help each other. U.S, Canada and the UK are amongst the most developed countries today due to strong trade and military alliance. A white employer will hire a fellow white man for a lucrative job position before he hires an immigrant with the same credentials.

Before anyone says I'm ranting because I was denied Visa or whatever PPR thing you guys relish here like a lottery ticket, I also used to think abroad was the be all end all after graduating from university. I also hustled and eventually left Nigeria. I made $265,000 that year working several overtime hours (I have the W-2 and tax return forms to prove it) but I was never really satisfied because this part of me kept feeling like I betrayed my country. It takes a special kind of person to self reflect and then decide to walk away from a lifestyle of adequate security, good health care system, great schools, cheap food and law & order but without any sacrifice, Nigeria will perpetually remain a 3rd world cesspool. I moved back, got a job and started a mentorship and scholarship program where we find youths whose families are unable to pay their elementary and secondary school fees and we partner with local businesses to raise funds for these kids. School isn't for everyone, we also train several kids in IT, carpentry, plumbing, construction and mini importation. Has it been easy? No. Do I sometimes miss the convenience of my 2 bedroom apartment in north Los Angeles? You bet I do. But do I feel accomplished knowing that I'm making a positive change in small ways that will alleviate poverty, possibly reduce crime and put more food on the tables of a few Nigerians? Certainly.

The UN needs to look into countries like Canada that take advantage of the dire situation in Nigeria and prowl on our brightest and youngest minds for the sole purpose of developing their country and replacing their aging workforce. Just today, their Prime minister was begging President Buhari to give him 1 million Nigerians. This just sounds like the year 1756 where the white man met with local chiefs and traded silver, mirrors and gun powder for African slaves. While I know most of you have made up your mind to flee your motherland, the least I can urge you to do is to find reputable charities and NGOs in Nigeria and donate to them once in a while. Goodluck.

So sorry to hear this. Looked through your precious posts. I'm thinking (and I may well be wrong)...that it's more than the typo of using 1112 instead of 1212.

Going by your description in this link and the response given, unless your role was supervisory I suspect even 1112 maybe considered inappropriate and that may be why the CSE didn't make a difference.

https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/163#64257841

Ps:@everyone it seems NOC is a major deal....let's be very careful and extra finicky when we choose...especially considering the experience of Nnetayo also.

I completely agree! I think that what helped was that I got my GCMS notes on time and proactively responded with evidence that my JD fell between the 2 NOCS. See the LOE I sent in below but I can't deny the fact that the outcome was solely because God granted me favour.

Dear Visa Officer,

I'm writing with regards to my application for permanent residence which I submitted online on the 17th of August, 2018.

At the time of filling out the express entry form, I had chosen my NOC as 0124 (Advertising, public relations and marketing managers). After I had submitted, I carefully reviewed the details of my application again only to realise that my NOC might also be 1123 (professionals in advertising, public relations and marketing managers). As a matter of fact, my job title- Marketing Executive CSR is one of the job titles for NOC 0124, while my job function as seen in my reference letter (in appendix) sits between the two NOCs. The difference between the two NOCs for me is that the lead statement for 0124 comes across as a supervisory role and I'm currently not a supervisor.

To explain my decision to change my NOC post submission of my PR application, I raised a CSE with a letter of explanation (LOE) and requested that my application be reviewed based on NOC 1123 because I felt more inclined to it. I received an acknowledgement from IRCC on the 17th of September 2018, stating that my LOE had been received and forwarded to the responsible office for consideration.

As my application was approaching the 6 month mark, I decided to be proactive and order GCMS notes just to get a sense of where things are with my application. To my greatest amazement, I saw that the case processing officer hadn't reviewed the LOE regarding my NOC change and had gone on to review my CRS score downwards from 444 to 394 as seen in the screenshot below

*insert screenshot of GCMS

My understanding is that applicants should always inform IRCC about important changes, which is what I did in this instance, in the hope that it would be helpful with my application. I am now worried that this isn't the case with my application as the case processing officer hasn't taken this into consideration, but I remain hopeful and trust that the efficiency of IRCC's application processing system would be applied to my situation even as I look forward to a very positive outcome.

I have attached a fresh reference letter with some proof of the work that I do for Bleep organization, including my pay slips and bank statement highlighting my salary deposits. I'm happy to also provide further information to help move things forward.

I look forward to a very positive outcome for my application and in a timely manner too.

Take for instance, I studied Animal Science in Uni but I am a teacher in a high school.
Lies!! Stop listening to those people around you and go and read up with your own eyes

Dear All,

I am writing this draft to solicit for your advise/help with regards to my application. My application was rejected on the 18th of April 2019 for a reason which I raised CSE on 5 days prior to the day of rejection. The issue is related to mistake on NOC number. Instead of me picking 1212, I picked 1112. This was noticed after 10 months of waiting for PPR via GCMS notes. I would like to hear from everyone on the best way to contest this decision as I am seriously bothered and I can tell my wife yet because we have sacrificed a lot for this application. Thank you in anticipation of your responses.
I'm so so sorry about this. Just reapply, as soon as possible. I Pray for speed in your new application

Good day elders, please is marriage certificate ( registry) and news paper publication enough as proof for change of name? Also, gift deed notarized, but when money was transferred mother tagged it as (share of proceeds) does this raise any red flag. Thanks in anticipation.
Yes that enough proof for change of name.
It might raise a flag. Better avoid any option that will make you submit SoA. Fix the money or buy Tbills

Hello everyone. Pls can someone help me with this questions;

1. Can i submit a marriage certificate from a local government marriage registry or it must be the certificate from ikoyi marriage registry?
2. Am i to submit bank statements with work experience or just the reference letter? Because i saw someone wrote "I submitted bank statement with second work experience".
Thanks.
1. Local government is very valid.
2. Not necessary. Reference letter is the only thing IRCC asked for

....”you have 33 minutes left, you should be on task 2!” At this point, I was inundated and confused because another failure could be lurking around the corner....I had stopped writing.Breathing in and out, I gathered strength from within to start Task 2 at 31minutes to go.Why should wallowing in self- pity strike after exams again? Needed to write for 26 minutes as it is a must to reserve 5 minutes to count my words.By the time I got the last paragraph, the word “dissolution” was spelt as “desolution” but I couldn’t figure it out after several attempts.Had to leave, I was blank, clock ticking and my darling 5 minutes had turned 4 minutes. Counted and recounted my words for the whole 4 minutes. After the exams, I found solace in the word count because I never made it for the previous attempts.

DonT.ee07 and Wasseyne.west, you showed me one of the essence of existence - to be compassionate. DonTe.e07, I slid into your pm after you offered to review a co- nairalander’s writing and no offence was taken. For four weeks, you were relentlessly on my case irrespective of place and time. The encouragements, criticism, banters, showering admiration on my handwriting and why I should lure the examiner with it in the introduction....can never be forgotten. When I mentioned my “desolution” case, shoving it aside by saying band 9 essays also do have errors doubled my hope.I’m bereft of words,my prayer for you is between me and the almighty.
As for you Wesseynewest, what you sow shall you reap. How many whatsapp group do you administer? You are one of a kind...selfless, down to earth, pragmatic, balanced and your voice/voice notes are the bomb! The last one the night before the exam was the icing on the cake.
I had been a nervous wreck since Wednesday night,so while everyone was trying to check result Friday morning, I was pacing around the house. Ate 5 mangoes before 8am,and took tours around the house for the umpteenth time.By the time it was 1pm,assumed BP had dropped. Smiling sheepishly, I started inputting my data but the two eyes were closed immediately after submit.Releasing one of the lids, I looked down at the writing row... there was a slant on top so definitely not a 6 something, the second lid automatically opened.

First attempt L R W S: 8,7,6.5,7 ( @ Ifeoma, Joo.2018 and co were encouraging)
Second attempt L R W S: 8.5, 8.5,6.5, 7.5 ( @ Pyruvel.uv, you helped with my EOR without knowing me, may you always find favour. I would rejoice with you too. And by the way, you can tear the damn TRF with you.Good riddance to bad rubbish! EOR with BC took 11 weeks and came back negative)
Final attempt : L R W S: 9, 9, 7, 8.
God sent all these people to me including the person that encouraged the use of Write&improve. After 3 attempts with 6.5, I slid into somebori’s Pm.CRS now 451,hoping for ITA before my birthday 19th May....my hard earned 5 points must not vanish.May the odds favour us all.
God bless Canada
God bless Nigeria too sha!
I was closing my eyes here with you cheesy
Congratulations Sis, big big congratulations!!!
ITA will definitely slide in before 19th IJN

XXXXXXX

I look forward to a very positive outcome for my application and in a timely manner too.

Congratulations ma'am and God bless you for sharing!

I am so gutted to read this.If you have money I think you can contact a reputable immigration firm/lawyer. The LP Group on
Youtube should suffice-they claim to help people with similar cases as yours.

P.S:Cases of rejection due to wrong choice of NOC is giving cause for concerns. I think we all owe it to our selves to help people review their NOC Code and ultimately confirm it where we possess such skill. One cannot afford to come this far and get a rejection letter, it's shattering to say the least. The mental, physical, emotional, financial burden is exhausting.

Newmum has done her 'bestest', we can't over burden her with every NOC requests as she graples with her new reality.(God bless her soul by the way).

As much as we have people who volunteer to help people with IELTS issues, we should also have for NOC.

I am volunteering to help people whose NOC falls under 1123/0124(Marketing,Advertising and Public Relations).

If you have special skills in deciphering NOC in your field I think you should reach out to these people when they post their NOC for review.

And to all newbie out there ensure you review your NOC before submitting your application.
@all :Please note this message is not borne out of compulsion but rather a passionate plea to help people achieve their dreams.

I strongly agree with this.

There’s this surge in rejection cases due to NOC mismatches. Guys please do not rush to submit your applications if you’re not certain of your selected NOC. Feel free to post your job duties or send me a PM so we review, align and select the appropriate NOC. I’m at your service wink

Pleas I am about to start the process. My wife is the principal applicant. Her current job title is relationship officer. But her job functions is sales related. She manages distributors and retailers in the area she is covering. Aside from trying to increase sales in her area, she manages the relationship with these distributors and retailers, handle their complaints and process their orders. Please which NOC is appropriate for her.

We were looking at NOC 0621. what do you think.
