.

If its a double file movie, merge it first before subtitling it, then if its a single file movie, you can either:
-Download the subtitles manually by typing Subscenes + name of movie on google, you'll be directed straight to the file.
or
- Use MX player to download your subtitles.

Its kind of a process...let me take you from Simple to Complex..

1. Download 'MX player' either from google or play store... you can search from movie subtitle directly from this media player.

2. If your search on MX player does not correlate with the movie or not found at all, go to google and do a search like this ( The usual suspect English subtitle) google will provide list of website you can download the subtitle from www.yifysubtitles.com.

3. The downloaded subtitle is always in Zip format and you will unzip with esfile explorer... after unziping, you will save this subtitle file in any folder you like on your phone... after saving, you can insert this file from your phone folder to any movie you are watching either with Vlc or MX player...

What are your biggest movie peeves? I have quite a few

- Cars exploding in car wrecks: Cars don't explode that easily in real life. A fuel tank is made from a reinforced metal, and it will take something pointed and sharp to rupture it in an accident, and even when it is ruptured, it'd still take a light source to ignite the gasoline. Bottom line, if you survived a car wreck, you're relatively safe inside the wreckage until you're rescued.

- Fight scenes between one guy and multiple assailants: Don't believe everything you see in movies. In real life, if you get in a fight with multiple persons, they're not just gonna wait for their turn. No sir. They will 100% rush at you at the same time with sticks, knifes and any weapon they can get their hands on, and if you don't run away as far as you can, no matter how skilled you're in martial arts or any sort of close contact combat, you're gonna get butchered, guaranteed. That's the reality.

- Accuracy of gun discharged with one arm: In movies we see people shooting other people with deadly accuracy whilst holding a pistol in each arm. In real life, it's very different. Firearms have something called kickback/recoil/knockback that forcibly jerks your arms away from the target at the moment of discharge. Sometimes the kickback can be so extreme that you may end up blowing your brains out. Using two arms - one for holding the gun, the other to steady the arm holding the gun - will effectively eliminate the kickback, steady your aim, and thus, achieve the accuracy you want.

- Hacking with few keystrokes: In movies, we're made to believe all government hacking can be done with few keystrokes. In real life, hacking is not that simple. It's a gruelling, and finger cramping work. It can take days to even go past the first firewall on a DoJ portal, and even at that, the hacker's anonymity isn't guaranteed. A hacker at some point of hacking can unwittingly broadcast their IP. Hacking is a dangerous business and not at all glamorous as Hollywood tries to make us believe.

- Women running and fighting in high heels: In movies, we see women in high heels proceed to kick ass. In real life, a high risk movement will most likely make the high heels to twist away from your ankles, thereby, spraining your ankles, or worse, snapping them.

- The Sexy badass chick trope: In Hollywood, the sexy badass chick has been done to death. Whatever happened to gritty looking badass chicks? What is so repulsive about that? We need more Furiosas in Hollywood abeg. For the benefit of those that don't get the referral, Furiosa is a co-protagonist in 2015 multiple award winning post-apocalyptic film, Mad Max: Fury Road. She's one armed, the antithesis for sexiness.

- The protagonist plot armour: It pisses me off when the antagonist can easily kill the protagonist, but conveniently doesn't, to protect the plot.

- Whatever Mark Walhberg appears in.: I hate the guy. Terrible actor, terrible director, terrible producer, terrible writer. The guy has the proverbial kiss of death. Anything he touches turn to sh*t

Nah, it's not that simple. Some movies get it right like Interstellar for example. The science plotted in that movie is on point.

Comic books are based on fantasy. That is different.

Works of fiction based on the real world should aspire to get practical facts as right as possible. Being work of fiction doesn't entail throwing away practical facts out of the window.

Not exactly. ITB is a mixture of facts and fantasy. The show got magic in it for crying out loud.

We disagreed on the authenticity of martial arts used. My take was (still is) ITB got the physics and mechanics of the martial arts right (with the exception of the widow fighting on high heels), but took liberties in other aspects. He disagreed by saying people don't fight like that in real life.

The widow is badass but something about her kicking ass with them stilettos bugs the hell out of me. It's satirical, and thus, misplaced in a non-satirical production.

LMAO..What's it with you & Mark Walhberg , though i completely agree with you. The dude gave a coup de grace to the already staggering TRANSFORMERS franchise, I never forgave him for that.

For movie peeves, i am starting to think most Rom Coms are written by men who have never actually gotten a woman to go out with them before because doing half the things that male rom com protagonists do in real life, wouldn't just get you a dirty slap/ kick in the balls, but also a restraining order.

Also when drivers don’t keep their eyes on the road & looks at the passengers or other driver for way too long, try that in real life, you wouldn't just wreck your car, but also yourself. The fast & furious franchise comes to mind here.

- Mark Walhberg is a classless, no talent, racist piece of sh*t. Before he became famous, he assaulted a Vietnamese in an hate crime, and blinded him in one eye.

- Rom-Coms have this fairy tale notion that all relationships end in happily ever afters.

- You can get away by taking your eyes off of the road for a few seconds in an expressway in real life.

- The Fast and Furious franchise stunts are OTT, and only a handful can work in real life situations.

Someone like Bagie got the mechanics to do the stunts you see there?

At the bolded, i agree, but that has to be elsewhere, not on our Nigerian roads. Even our expressways that is divided with barriers, you dare no try it on such, even for few seconds, else one has a death wish.

I've actually pulled it off once upon a time. I took my eyes off of Lagos-Benin road momentarily to pick up my ringing phone lying in the passengers seat... in high speed. If there's no traffic, and you have a steady hand, it's simple enough to pull off.

Pls can you explain the physics of behind intercepting a dart that is motion with knife that is tucked by the hip? Do you even study law of motion before you bring physics in ITB?

Dont be shy to admit you goofed, martial art is not only about weapons, and from your brilliant write up there, sliding like sub zero on ice to perform a side kick to the groin is correct mechanics and physics?

I dont want to believe you are this dull.
