He may have done a to and fro trip.

But wait, how and where can you cover a distance of 60km in Lagos in 2hrs ??? tongue shocked shocked

It's very possible if one is against traffic. I did something close today from Int'l Airport to Sangotedo. Rider even stopped for like 10mins at Mega Chicken and there was even bad traffic after Mega Chicken to Ajah self

But I didn't make excess on the trip, it was rather short of #300 (Taxify as usual). We went through the Lekki toll as insisted by rider

If I have anything illegal doing, I won't post my detail earnings.

My account has been active since, started driving since December 31st full time.

If you feel something wrong with it, report to Uber. I will post more if you need.

I put in minimum of 70hours a week.

Meanwhile I work very little yesterday. Did more rest.

I don't see any logical reason why anybody will buy 1.5m car for uber .. My landing cost for all my uber cars ,no fit reach 1.5m. The most was 1.4m if I can recall ..the reason was because I was new the business of buying cars from copart.. The location of the car was far from the port .. So the cost of transporting the car was $300 to the port, it was an 08 Elantra low miles less than 101k miles... other than that my landing cost has never been that high... At the beginning of uber forum years ago ,I stated that landing cost for any uber cars should not pass more than 1.2m .. Because u want to be able to recoup your money asap. And till today I discourage people from buying corolla for uber, too expensive. Than how long will it take u to recoup than . But my Nigerian people na only one road they see .. If it is not Toyota, it is not a car .. A lot fail to think outside the box ..
Now I use Honda civic, which makes my landing cost very ,very interesting.. But if you tell people to go for civic 03 to 05 .. They will tell this and that too low to the ground etc. After a while I just keep shut. You can't force anyone, those that will hear will hear .. .. At the end of it all landing cost plays a big role and that is the advantages I have.. I recall trying to link up with you and share ideas with you at one time.. I even call you when I was in naija to link up .. It seems I was forcing myself that time.. I quietly respect myself and kept it moving ... ..True story... those that will learn will learn, no one is too big or small .. But at the end of the day ,it's all love ...we keep pushing.....
Please, can you list best cars at lower/avoidable landing cost for uber business?

It's for yesterday and today. Even 13hours online does not translate to 13 hours driving time as it includes times without request/waiting for request

Talking from experience and experience only.... I had three Honda civics ,just sold 1 few weeks ago 03 .. The rest is 04 and 03 .. All bought tokunbo.. Very solid cars and strong and good on fuel..... Civics from 03 to 05 ,is what I know and what I recommend.. I can't recommend something that I have not used.... And landing cost for those cars should be around 1.2 to 1.3m .... If you can a tokunbo from the start, maintain it well, good oil coolant etc .. And the resale value of that car is not bad. I sold mine last than two weeks when it was advertised..

Absolutely correct... Civic 03-05 model is good to go. Tested and Trusted....

Animals are just better than some people, picked this couple at the airport. The messed my car real bad, ate chips and chicken from TFC I don't know what it's called. They started eating as soon as we left airport, they pushed the footmat and the small rug under the foot mat under the car seat don't know if it was on purpose and every kind of particles was just on the floor. Had it been they allowed all the mess to be on the foot mat it would be bearable, my car was just like a garbage bin. I managed to trash the whole nonsense and couldn't clean the rug, had to use the foot mat to cover it.
I would have reported to Uber at least the will be debited for car wash but I remember I used saka when they were delaying me and making several Yeye stops.

No matter how much you preach and tell them, nay very few go hear.. The rest na one road and road one only to corolla . ..if I didn't know any better, I go think Toyota use Jazz on them.. Anybody that is using tokunbo corolla at this stage of the business, needs prayers and difference... may God help them

The cost of elantra has gone up ..landing cost of elantra is higher than a civic .... Elantra has been a second option to replace corolla.. I will rather sell the elantra than use am for uber ,compare to civic that profit is very small to sell..

The normal distance for that trip is meant to be lesser than 37km cos according to the screenshot below, the map went through lekki express instead of link brigde, therefore adding about 1-2km. According to his screenshot, the possible stops(sakamaje) happened in ikoyi. Does it mean that the stops in ikoyi added more than 20km to the trip which is questionable. Or maybe they roaming around in circles grin.

Hi guys, hope you're enjoying your holiday, yesterday started out well but ended in a funny way, I'll like to hear from you guys.

So I picked a lady from access bank close to shoprite at the palms, she was going to magodo shangisha, traffic was very bad yesterday, while we were struggling with the third mainland traffic, should saw her colleague driving beside us and she said I should park and end the trip.

Me: sorry ma, I can't end the trip here, it's not a convenient place for me.

Rider: raising her voice.. What's the meaning of this, you mean I should continue and waste my money when I can join my friend. She made move to open the door, I just quietly cleared to the right and the colleague was right behind us.

My plan was to continue to her destination and end it when I get there but as soon as she got down she ended it from her end, which is one thing I dislike about uber allowing riders end trip on their own.

I was very mad because I spent almost 2hrs to get to the mainland when I could have just remained on the island and do short trips. I complained to uber and they said rider has the right to end trip if they feel uncomfortable, I was like, una de mad, who is talking about rider being uncomfortable here. Seriously it's very annoying.
