Thanks for your comment. I won't overflog this issue. I have the birth certificate @ifeoma77 and Co are referring to also. I also got the NPC own on a cautious note. It's up to everyone to decide what suits best. My original advisory was based on a recent development dated March 2019. I attached it earlier. All the best! Oakville19: 8 Likes |

Kindly clarify: 1. Are you also claiming points for the 2016 job till date? 2. Are there no payslips available for the period 2011-2015? Xyzee: |

My contribution to this birth certificate debate: 1. IRCC has been accepting all kinds of birth certificates and I don't think that is likely to change. 2. The refusal letter @topeolu1 displayed is from MPNP. PNP sometimes have stricter requirements than IRCC. For example, I remember a case in an earlier thread where SINP rejected Treasury bills as a proof of funds. 3. People on PNP should definitely get their attestation from NPC. 4. There is no harm in all of us getting our attestation from NPC. We are all planning to emigrate. Let's get all possible documents. It doesn't cost much and is not really stressful. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

please help, I woke to a sad message from ICES saying they cant verify Uniport degrees now. After almost 4 months of waiting. Please advice on the next step to take. Thank you. See the message below We have completed more research regarding the credential you have submitted for evaluation. Unfortunately ICES is unable to provide assessments for degrees completed at Port Harcourt University because ICES has insufficient and inconclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees that were issued by this institution. At a later date, should ICES receive more conclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees from Port Harcourt University, then ICES will resume evaluating degrees from the said institution. Until then, ICES will not be able to provide any assessments for degrees awarded by Port Harcourt University. In accordance with our cancellation policy outlined in the ICES Credential Evaluation Application Package, we will issue refunds for $200. Sincerely, International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES)/bh |

Hmm. The context is not clear. Are you applying after you are married or you are planning to add your spouse after the wedding? You must choose your current status as at when you are doing the medicals If you applying after you are married, you upfront medical status is single. If you are planning to add your spouse after the wedding, I think it will be simpler for the accompanying would-be spouse to do medicals separately. He/she can do his/her upfront medicals after the wedding. LadyJasper: 2 Likes |

You are already 5 months gone. I think at this point, you can only pray that it is acceptable. Have you gotten your gcms notes? caseynewnn: |

1. He has to be in your application as your stepchild and your husband's biological child. 2. I think your application will be simpler if you submit as one spouse and 2 other dependents. He is your husband's dependent. See this, this and this. You will provide POF to cover him and have him do medicals. 3. You can list him as non-accompanying. That way if the whole family is not in support you don't have to carry him now, but your husband will retain the option to sponsor him later. Buku: |

joo2018: 1. NO. Claiming points for 2011-2015 only. 2. There are payslips between 2011 -2015 |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018: 10:07am On May 07, 2019 |
Then I don't see the issue. Whether you get an ADR for payslips or choose to submit it upfront with the application, the applicable payslips are the ones between 2011 -2015. Xyzee: |

chrisebsy: I work in a govt organisation and this your description is exactly what I wanted to avoid and ended up happening anyway because I was asked to follow 'due process'. They still did oversabi ontop the letter and gave me a 'visit visa' letter claiming that they don't issue ref letters for permanent residence purposes. Before I could say 'Jack Robinson' people were asking me what I brought for them from my Waka. I ended up using a letter written on a plain sheet by a colleague I trust, attached her ID card and notarised. I am still waiting for PPR anyway so I cannot claim to be an authority on the matter, but if you check page 1, there are lots of PPR recipient who used the same format. 6 Likes |

Ifeoma77: Still on the Birth Certificate brouhaha. I decided to upload both our birth certificates (Non-NPC)and birth attestations fron NPC which i intend to get. I left for Ikeja LGA early this morning to find out the process. I met a staff at the NPC office who told me that i need to swear an affidavit for myself and my sister from the High Court and pay #12,000 each for the attestation then I would have to wait for two weeks to get it. Please is this the process and cost of the attestation? Can't I get it cheaper and faster than this? 3 Likes |

Hi guys am new here and I like the help you render to one another. Please I have a question: on the express Entry page while filling my details there a place that states what’s the minimum education requirement for you NOC...... mine is NOC6235. Skilled level B. And under job requirement it states completion of high school is usually required. Furthermore, it states that some employers may require Bachelors in commerce or related field... please which is the minimum education requirement for my NOC? |

The officer is alleging that you didn't provide documentation at all to prove the relationship which is confusing. There is a difference between a particular document not being acceptable, and documents not being provided in their entirety. For instance, sometimes they would say "the Nigerian Police Certificate you provided is not acceptable " rather than say you didn't provide it at all. Although, you shouldn't have gotten past R10 if you didn't provide it. Is it possible that the officer didn't see the documents you submitted under this placeholder? Is it possible you attached the wrong set of documents? It's been known to happen before. You need to order gcms notes to understand what exactly went wrong. Birth certificates are not the only proof of relationship so it's strange that you would be denied on the basis of the birth certificate alone. Ircc states: Proof of the relationship of the applicant or the accompanying spouse or common-law partner to the family member must also be provided (e.g., a birth certificate, an official document naming the applicant as a relative, a copy of the inside back cover of the relative’s passport showing the relative’s parents’ marriage certificate, legal adoption documents and any other documents that prove or describe the relationship). My birth certificate was issued by the Ministry of Health for my state, while my sister's was NPC issued and both were submitted. Still waiting for a decision. 7 Likes |
