danfad:It's not about carrying UNIPORT, the email it was sent from isn't recognised by ICES. You should use WES, that's what I used, i also graduated from CPG. 1 Like |

danfad: Was the transcript sent from uniport's transcript office? If your centre used their email to send the transcript, then that's a very big mistake, please don't repeat that with WES. Process your transcript, verification and everything from uniport henceforth please. 1 Like |

Good day. I am confused about the NOC to choose for my wife. She was a personal secretary for about a year to one of the top bosses in her place of work before she was moved to another unit as a relationship officer. She wants to claim points for the two roles as she has spent almost four years with the organisation. Her job roles as a secretary was • first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls • reminds the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines • typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence • managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments • booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation • organise events and demonstrations for Blockmoulders • managing databases and filing systems • liaising with technical team and other staff to ensure smooth running of technical department • collating and filing expenses. Her job role as a relationship officer was es of the Relationship Office • Building and maintaining relationships with customers both whoesalers and retailers • Managing key customers accounts and processing customer orders • Conducting business reviews to ensure customers are satisfied with their products and services. • Identify new opportunities and follow up new leads to further sales • Letting customers know about other products the company offers • Achieving customer relationship targets and KPI’s as set by the Head of Sales.. • Monitoring company performance against competition. Please which NOCs does the roles fall under? 1. Personal secretary 2. Relationship officer. Finally, if she finds the NOCs, I hope she can claim pints from the two of them. They are two separate roles within the same odepartnent in the same organisation. From my visit to the NOC page, The similarities I saw is.. 1. Personal secretary had solar roles with administrative assistant. 2. Relationship officer roles is similar to technical sales specialist. Please help. Thanks. 1 Like |

kentoski: ok thanks. I decided to go that way since it has worked for people previously most especially with WES. The email still carries uniport domain name (......@uniport.edu.ng) just wondering why my case is different. |

ope213: 28weeks na wa o. Have you been following up. I guess it’s WES then |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Topsmamen: 2:13pm On May 07, 2019 |
ananne: Both NOCs look good. Yes, she can claim points using the two as long she meets the minimum skilled work experience listed here. Since it's the same company, her reference letter needs to state her previous positions held and list out the different details (roles/responsibilities, number of hours worked, salary, full-time job, paid etc) for each of the positions, upload the same reference in each placeholder and back it up with an LOE to indicate this. |

Hello, please which address in Ikeja did you go? I thought NPC's office is in Babs Animashaun Surulere as stated on google. I'm hoping to start the process of getting attestation of birth. Also, regarding the requirement to go to High court, are we to do it ourselves or there's someone legit at their office that can do it on our behalf? Scandinavian02: |

It’s COPR guys (LONG POST ALERT) First, I will like to give glory to Almighty God, who in his infinite mercy, not only made this process successful but delivered it with more good news. Let me jump right into it. TIMELINE My IELTS (7/7/2018): 8.5,8,7,7.5 LRWS (After 3rd attempt) Spouse IELTS (28/9/2018): 6.5,6,6.5,7.5 ECA: (WES) 27/6/2018 CRS: 443 Invitation to Apply: 15/10/2018 AOR: 03/11/18 Medical Passed: 4/12/18 Biometric Request Letter: 4/12/18 How to get a job email: 14/12/2018 Ip1: 14/12/2018 ADR: 9/3/2019 Famous 5 Ip2: 12/4/2019 PPR: 16/4/2019 Family of 3 Visa Office: AVO Passport Submission: 17/4/2019 Application approved: 2/5/2019 Maple leaf sealed and delivered: 7/5/2019 My Super Story I never thought of relocating outta of the country. This was not because I was balling or enjoying the country but we just believe say Naija go dey alright las las. In August 2017, things changed when a sweet neighbour, turned spouse, opened my eyes and heart to it. She insisted she wants a life out of this country and if I want to be with her, I have to pursue this dream. See condition….Lol. As a result, I got my international passport, applied for US b1/b2 Visa and got it. Canada never crossed our minds. I wanted to jaapaa using the US visa and later bring her over. Aborted that mission after I came across this thread. I came across this thread at PART 3. Read and read the whole thread before joining officially in July 2018 at PART 4. IELTS I gave my timeline in part 4 but let me summarize below: 1st attempt: 8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) BC - Requested for EOR but no luck 2nd attempt: 8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) MOD - Requested for EOR but no luck with writing but speaking upgraded to 7.5 3rd attempt: 8.5,8.0,6.5,7.5 (LRWS) MOD - Requested for EOR again but this time, God came through for me and I got an upgrade to 7 in writing. I made use of LIZ paid version videos, Jay and ieltsadvantage to prepare for the test. ECA This is another roller-coaster process. I registered with WES since January 2018. All thanks to NASU strike at the time. I claimed points for two certificates from University of Ado Ekiti (B.Sc) and Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (ND). For my ND, sending transcript was kinda easy but the verification part was killing. I had to upgrade my package with WES to premium so that I can track the verification mail couriered to the school. While tracking that, we got the guy in-charge of registrar email, he complained no internet to even check if they received the verification request from WES via email. They are used to responding to WES through courier. I sent some money for data and voila, the verification email was sitting there. They responded via email for me, even before the courier from WES arrived. After I got my ECA report in July 2018, I observed a note was made on the report about a different DOB captured from my ND transcript. This was really disturbing because the observed DOB, if used will increase my age by 3 years. Yepaaa!!! I tried to correct this with the school but all effort to no avail. After so much effort, I talked to Newmum0615 and some other seniors in the house and they advised I go ahead but with an LOE. I did as advised at the end of the day but submitted alongside these documents; birth certificate, sworn affidavit for correction of DOB on ND Transcript, Attestation of birth from NPC, National Drivers Licence, and tax clearance certificate card and its details. MEDICAL & PCC Medical was with Qlife 27th October 2018. Booked the date after ITA. Never had high BP before but on the day, it was really bad. The more the lady tried, the worse the result. She finally recorded the first and the best of the 3 attempts. Inspector Moshood came to the rescue for the PCC (8k) for both of us. REFERENCE LETTER I have only worked for one employer since graduation. When I see some JDs here with 15-20 duties, I got scared because mine had only 5. Anyways no issue at last. PROOF OF FUND This was gangster! We used 85% gift deed from my uncle and the balance from spouse. She transferred the dough to my account, therefore no need for consent letter. Drafted a gift deed for my uncle to sign and notarized it at Magistrate court in Sabo, Yaba. Move the fund into a new account and invest in 6 months FD. Uploaded 1-month statement of my account showing the inflow from my uncle and spouse as well as the outflow to the new account. Of course, the FD letter from the bank was also uploaded. No bank reference letter and no bank statement from the new bank. Initially, I wanted to apply as married but spouse non-accompanying because of the CRS draw during that period and go through spousal sponsorship route later. Took madam to the registry to do the needful and book an ielts test date for her, when we discovered we can actually get up to 445 with good test result from her. Did I mention that she had 4 UK visa rejections and 1 US visa rejection? An agent ‘joined’ her with a guy and claimed they were married in their applications. This was disclosed in our application. We claimed she had a common law relationship with the guy, and that ended before we met. Entered the express entry pool with 443 on 12th October 2018 and got ITA 15th October 2018. After we got the job mail, I called IRCC and the agent said, our file is in CIO with some info about Eligibility and all. I was worried about the age stuff and as a result I kept disturbing them for status. After new year break, I called again and the agent confirmed file transferred to Accra VO on the 14th December 2018. What? ACCRA? Waited till 23/1/2019 to order gcms note as fear no allow me rest. We got the note 30 days later with nothing as started but no issue raised by the case processing officer apart for RR(Review Required) for statutory questions (for spouse visa refusals). I joined other fellow AVOrians. Those guys can give courage to the dead to stay alive. I know people have mentioned how we gather to pray and praise God. At first, some people got ADR for famous 5 (Updated POF, Bank Statement showing salary payments, payslips, Schedule A and Family Background information). We got ours that exceptional Saturday March 9th 2019 and submitted 13th March 2019. For the year of assessment, I submitted 1 year info i.e payslip and bank statement from the date of the ADR. After 2 weeks, I emailed Uncle Ralph but he responded that nothing has started. At the start of April AVO vexed with rain of PPR and we were hoping to get ours. April 12th 2019 will moved to ip2. Then I know it’s close. But my too inquisitive being mailed Uncle Ralph again. Na so baba say make I try again in June 2019 if no response from CIC. I just gave up. April 16th 2019, I got donotreply email from CIC, to check my account. When I saw another request letter, sincerely I thought it was another ADR. Infact when I opened it, I scrolled down quickly to see what they were asking for. To my greatest surprise, it was PPR. I’m sorry for posting this late but I couldn’t announce my PPR at the same time with the only IRCC consultant, as we call him on November WhatsApp group, Joo2018. He got PPR the same day and the whole NL went agog. I just sempe for one side. This is the time to appreciate everyone in here but most importantly @newmum0615, we exchanged over 30 emails, Ramj, Joo2018 etc. To my November AOR WhatsApp group, you people are too much. We are changing the group name soon to “November Applicants turned Canadians”. I wish everyone success at every stage of the process and pray that Canada favours us, more than expected. Peace out!!! 75 Likes 7 Shares |

Topsmamen: Thanks for your quick response. They are both paid jobs, full time, 40 hours per week. The only issue is this... She got appointment letter for the secretary job in August 7,2015. She resumed on 7th of September 2015. She worked till the end of August 2015. She got a later for the relationship officer role in August 2016 and resumed duties September 1, 2016. She has been on the same role till date. From this can we say that she spent at least a year as secretary? Should I start counting from the day on her appointment letter, or the day she resumed work. Finally what do we do if her company refuse to issue a reference letter. Looking forward to your reply. |

Help needed for a friend. There was an error in the year of birth on her passport which she tried to change but was told she had to gobto Abuja, she dropped the idea. She was able to get US ans UK visas with the passport and has visited the countries multiple times. There is now an opportunity to correct the birth date and she wants to go ahead. However, she is scared of the implication for her application under EE, as she thinks there is a risk of being banned for misrepresentation, and also for the renewal of her American Visa. Has anyone been in this situation before? Can you please provide details how was it resolved. |
