This matter of corporate finance is complex, especially in a merciless shark eating economy. Nigeria is not excluded in this as any where you find money exchanging hands you see people with technical knowhow ready to corner everyone else to a box. We need a transparent institutions to protect our funds in NSE.
I hope it won't be a pump and dump share. Only the transparency of our regulatory institutions can save us.

seems many people don't know the functions of each agencies in this country. is just like police taking criminals to jail without petition and prosecution at the court of law
You are trying to be smart, but you are not. NCC is only just a regulatory body for telecoms in the country and will only come at mtn if it has to undo with poor service delivery. Mtn is listed in the stock exchange, but for EFCC to raid their office, there is an element of fraud in play. So yes, Efcc is rightly doing their job.

No. It's neither the jurisdiction of the EFCC and the NCC, but that of the SEC. The EFCC can come into play pending a referral from the SEC.

Oga, we are in Nigeria were manipulation is the order of the day. Ask them to submit their papers it will something different from reality.
Most of us manipulate our date of birthday and all sort.
I am not saying that's the right step for EFCC to take but when you have system failure that's what you will here.

Once they recoup their money paid as fine with extra by gullible Nigerians, they are getting out. That's exactly how Etisalat got a cash investment and Mudabala telecoms (the Arab owners) ran off with the money.

What most people don't know is that just last Friday, Mtn borrowed 200 Billion for a 7 year tenure from a consortium of banks just Friday 17th of May.

You see that fine mtn paid, they are stylishly collecting it back from Nigerians. They would eventually dump everything and run off like Etisalat. They are scamming as much people as possible preparatory to running away.

The banks they obtained the loan from know this but they don't care. They would willingly take over mtn like they did to Etisalat.

This same Gbenga Oyebode on Mtn board is the chairman of Access bank. Go and find out what Access bank did to Etisalat.

By noon, people will mop up what was dumped and it goes long again.

So short in the morning, while you place a buy stop and watch out till noon.

Big boys will so juice this share till nothing is left then the dumping and getting out begins for the risk takers.

EFCC is like the SEC of Nigeria. NCC has nothing to do with the regulation of the Stock Exchange. Once anyone's shares get listed on the NSE it becomes EFCC's business concerning anything related to stocks. Any other thing like mismanagement or shady practices within the company NOT RELATED TO THE VALUE OF MTN SHARES is the business of the NCC
