Please house help me explain. I got this mail from CIC this morning. I have paid $250 cad for confirmation of my admission. But the school said they don't issue receipt for that except it is full payment of tuition fee. Good day, As per your payment receipt, you are required to complete all actions in order to receive a completed receipt with a reference number which should the be emailed to us for our action and update. Click on print to generate the required online receipt then send that to us. Please finalise all steps required and generate a finalised online receipt then resend to us. Regards, |

This just means that whatever you sent to IRCC wasn't accepted. If you want to send them a receipt, send them a REAL receipt, which in this case would be your tuition payment receipt. So, you are being asked to finalise that payment (if you want) and send them the online tuition payment receipt. Anamekele: |

Bracha:Thanks for your response. But I have not paid tuition fee. What I paid was confirmation admission fee and I provided the transaction receipt from the bank...like I said it appears the school does not give receipt for such payment. Soon this case what should I do. |

Bracha: Thank you for the response. I know LOE as letter of explanation. But what is SOP? 2. If i should increase the amount to be for tuition + 10k $ + extra, that should be more than about N10million , what no2 happens to my sponsor account or how much will then be the balanace? Or does the sponsor's account no longer counts? Finally, can I reach you privately for help to also assist with the letter. I will be very glad. Thanks |

Please I have a question. I'm about to apply for my study permit and my mum's bank is a micro finance Bank. Doesn't have branches just a headquarter. Hope there's nothing wrong with that? |

Baztardmods:Still not a logical reason for him to travel with his family. No Vo will buy that claim. I mean, him and his family spending a huge amount of money to witness your graduation? ?? Worst case scenario he travels alone. |

Sigh... I know you haven't paid tuition fee, IRCC also know you haven't paid tuition fee, because if you had, the school would have issued a receipt. I can't tell you what to do, but I suggest you make a decision fast. The receipt you sent wasn't accepted by IRCC from their reply to you. Anamekele: |

1. SOP is statement of purpose. 2. I don't really understand this question, but I'll give an idea of what you can do. You can use 2 sponsors; with one being a main sponsor and the other a co-sponsor. I also advise your sponsors write a letter of support for you. Check Qudkom and Frankrobbn1's posts here on how to do this. 3. I am currently unavailable for SOP/LOE review. Please ask the others. Good luck. Obehi44: |

To the new comers, please use the first page of the thread i.e PAGE 1. The information there are still very relevant and will go a long way in helping with your applications, both for admissions and visa. When you're done then you can ask questions, if you still have questions. Good luck. |

You can use them. So long as the money can be verified, the bank is legit, you can proceed. Christycode: |

Verified, as in the meaning of the word verified. During visa application checks, the money you claim to have will be verified, your bank and account people may be contacted to verify your claim. Christycode: |

Obehi44: In my understanding, this refusal reason can easily be tackled unlike the purpose of visit. Since you in haste to reapply, if you didn't pay your tuition fees before, do so, at least for a semester. Then also your LE in your personal acct. Your sponsorship funds should be able to cover your total studies in Canada and how provision for the tuition and LE for the subsequent year has been arranged. This should be stated in your SOP/LOE and if possible your sponsor should indicate the total amount made available for your 1st year studies. Include relevant and necessary document of both personal and sponsor's property etc., and use your SOP/LOE to garnish it Finally, your LOE should hint strongly at the refusal reason with convincing and good emphasis in addressing the VO's concern. Good luck! |

1. LOE or SOP is used interchangeably in this thread. It means same thing. Usually SOP is for your admission process while LOE is for visa process. While LOE explains why you should be given visa with clear succinct plans regarding purpose of travel, SOP gives a clear and detailed explanation of your academic history and plans and why you should be admitted. 2. Your sponsor has to have enough after paying for you school expenses to take care of himself. I will suggest you get a co-sponsor, and like @Bracha suggested have them write a sponsorship letter to that effect. Though it is not compulsory, the letter can be specific as to what they will sponsor you on. One can sponsor you on your tuition and another on your living expenses. Lastly do not rush... please. I will share my story sometime soon on this platform. Obehi44: 1 Like |
