Constipation is part of the package for some women.

Let her take a lots of fluids, fruits and vegetables.. It helps..

Breathe, breathe and breathe sis, it’s well.

Please take it a day at a time .. The reality we have not come to accept is we need to change our schedule to fit that of our little ones till we are able to get them used to a routine.. When they sleep, please sleep.. the house chores can wait and when you both wake , you can take it from there..

You either back the baby or put in the bouncer/swing or play mat as you can afford...

Your body needs all the rest it can get and it’s only you that can give it.. And please eat well too and take your post natal vitamins

You need to be healthy, fit , mentally and physically sound to be able to take care of your little one with love..

And please ask for help when needed.. nobody has it all and there’s no award for super woman/mum..

It’s well with you, your little one and household..

Is the cough producing any coloured secretions??

If your mucous isn't green or yellow, just clear or white, then an antibiotic isn't going to do anything because it's viral and it will run it course but that been said you need a lot of water, warm bath and rest as much as you can..
Support your back with pillows so you don’t lie flat, you sleep probed up , it helps with the airway..

If the mucous is coloured , kindly see your doctor for prescription.. say no to self medication...

Try lots of warm drinks, warm bath and keep yourself hydrated. Steam inhalation too help clear the airway...

You can put honey in the warm water if you have and ensure you are probed up while sleeping(try not to to sleep flat) .

.Cappo, we dey fine over here, Baba God is our strength. The young man doesn't worry much; for now just 2 times before day break and once fed very well and his diaper checked next na to sleep.

But for few days he tried to alter his routine eeh I nearly cried. Now that mumsy has started talking about leaving fear don dey catch me as na only two of us go dey house for long .

May the Lord strengthen us in caring for our little cutie angels.

You need to be hydrated and given drugs...

Thank you mama. I was given a list from the hospital. But they weren't specific in quantity like how many baby vest/overalls I should come with, how many diapers, they only stated I come with socks, I didn't see caps or mitten. That's why I asked Mamas think will be enough.

Cappo not only you, sometimes I feel like running away to rest for few hours but I all am grateful for opportunity of this second chance Lo is a month plus and am getting use to it now so far Its for my lo I can go through anything for him.

I will say about 10 diaper piece if you got the large bag or a pack of small mini(don’t know the type you bought).

The small mini pack usually contain about 10 or more (can’t realy remember, e don tey).


The 6 overall or 2 pack of 3 in one , 3-4 baby vests, 3 medium/big flannels(spacious enough to wrap baby not the small ones for cover oo) , same as caps and mitten.. not all babies tolerate caps.. my babies don’t wear so I don’t bother..
Don’t forget to take enough sanitary towel for you and nightingale oo so you don’t buy at extra cost in the hospital.

And pack clothes for your self for 3 -4 days..

Make other sabi mamas put mouth..

sorry pele , whenever I read this I remember my cs and the excruciating pain.
drink water and eat in small quantities. Don’t eat swallow yet, drink Ogi so you can poop in time and try to move around small small but don’t stress yourself it will make it come fast. You just may poop this night

I called the nurse that did it for me and she said nothing is wrong but I'm worried and that's why I came here to table my matter to medical practitioners here. Please is it normal and if not is there any drugs I can by and use? Thanks

Please see a doctor as soon as possible not a nurse. If you want to do abortion meet a qualified doctor because anything can go wrong , please you need to go to a hospital and let the doctor evaluate your symptoms

Is this your first? I will advice you register in both if you can afford it considering expenses of private hospitals..
It’s safer ...
If luth is not far from you, I will advice you use them, you will sure get specialist care.. and if luth is far, get a good Lagos state hospital and not primary health care center oo...

Don’t know which private hospital is closer to you.. sure other sabi mamas will put mouth too..
