I dont know of any good private hospital in Olodi Apapa but i strongly recommend that you register at Apapa Health Centre. That's was my second antenatal hospital. I register the private clinic (hmo) and Apapa Health Centre because in terms of delivery and specialist they have it there and my twin gave birth to three boys there.

The antenatal is 25000 which includes some scan and test. Antenatal is every Monday while registration is on Tuesdays. You have to be at the clinic on time if you want to leave there early. You know govt hospital and crowd. For the antenatal, you have to be there by 7 or 8am because they have pregnancy class from 8 to 9am or 7am to 8am before they start transferring your files to the doctors office. Normal and cs delivery is not expensive.
I didn't deliver there because hmo paid for it.

I went there for the pregnancy class as they don't usually have it at some private hospitals.

Thanks mama for this info, its quite helpful. I jst told hubby abut the apapa health center and he approves it. So we r also going to register wit his HMO. I appreciate your response ma.

Try lots of warm drinks, warm bath and keep yourself hydrated. Steam inhalation too help clear the airway...

You can put honey in the warm water if you have and ensure you are probed up while sleeping(try not to to sleep flat) .

Sorry about the pain..

Support the site with your hand or pillow toe ease the pain.. I am sure you are on pain medications and you are given as per schedule, please if the pain is unbearable, ask for relief.. You know how it feels, don’t brave it all like an African woman.

Ask someone to blend watermelon for you and drink..
Seeds should be removed.

You can take cucumber too and vegetables.

Take warm water especially first thing in the morning and watch your diet..

Be careful not to strain the site when you are trying to use the toilet, support the site with your hands or pillow while bearing down..

It’s well with you..

I will say about 10 diaper piece if you got the large bag or a pack of small mini(don’t know the type you bought).

The small mini pack usually contain about 10 or more (can’t realy remember, e don tey).

The 6 overall or 2 pack of 3 in one , 3-4 baby vests, 3 medium/big flannels(spacious enough to wrap baby not the small ones for cover oo) , same as caps and mitten.. not all babies tolerate caps.. my babies don’t wear so I don’t bother..
Don’t forget to take enough sanitary towel for you and nightingale oo so you don’t buy at extra cost in the hospital.

And pack clothes for your self for 3 -4 days..

Make other sabi mamas put mouth..

drink water and eat in small quantities. Don’t eat swallow yet, drink Ogi so you can poop in time and try to move around small small but don’t stress yourself it will make it come fast. You just may poop this night

Pastor Chole, you dey see vision oooo not long after my post, i went to toilet to poo grin

. But the challenge i have now is mosquitoes in this hospital don give me malaria. I just breast feed my baby put her for her cot cover with mosquito net, next thing one cold breeze just blow me, i started shivering, no be small thing oooo. My temperature just high, ah i called the nurse on duty to come and check my vitals as she was checking it, i was shivering see me whala. She called the doctor and she instructed that they give me antimalaria hmmm. Devil is a liar!!!!!

My allday sickness has been on all time high. Aside the constant nausea and vomiting, since yesterday morning I have been vomiting dark colored blood each time I puke. It leaves my throat really sore and a slight pain in my stomach afterwards.
Is this going to ever get any better?

I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks two years ago and that was it. Fast forward to this year, I got pregnant again. The pregnancy is just 5 months old, so last week, I registered for antenatal. The doctor asked me to run some tests, after which it turned out that I'm rhesus negative while my husband is rhesus positive. the doctor said I will lose the baby since I wasn't given the rhogam shot during my first pregnancy. I'm very broken and hurt... pls I just want to ask the doctors and any body that has gone through this experience before, Now that I'm already exposed to the anti bodies, is there any chance for my baby to live, if the baby is rhesus positive? admin please kindly help move this to front page
