Could this be stupidity or courage

A man who wanted to test a substance on his body to see how flammable it is, set his body ablaze after striking fire on himself.

The man who poured the substance on himself experimented on his body to see how the substance will react to fire.

But it seem not to have turned out the way he expected it, as he ran into a nearby river to put off the fire after he went up on flame.
