fero007: You are right, the problem is South South has several tribes and it's difficult to adopt a single language when we have about 80 different dialects. Bendel for instance the only language of communication was pidgin and also most cities in South South (Edo/Delta n Rivers) are cosmopolitan. 1 Like |

This language is pure edoid language so why is ijaw claiming them? If we look at things critically edoid language dominate the present Edo and delta state even bayelsa and river state. |

Re: Words From The Epie Language Of Yenagoa. by Sinistami(m): 3:29pm On Jun 27, 2019 |
Southernminorit: They culture is purely Ijaw and even the language it self a large part is greatly derived from Izon. |

Sinistami:but why is the language Edo? Were there ancestors Edo or ijaw? Please answer this |
Re: Words From The Epie Language Of Yenagoa. by Sinistami(m): 3:40pm On Jun 27, 2019 |
Southernminorit: They ancestors are mixed, Edo Immigrants coming into Ijaw land to mix with the native elements. Anyway the Origin of a lot of pure ijaw themselves point to Benin city as well as them having historical links with Oduduwa especially those of Western Izon stalk and even kalabari of Eastern Ijaw. Go study the history of Benin city it self and it's inhabitants from time imemomorial not Edo o! Benin City. And sorry for insulting you on my first reply. Ijaw history would however not be complete if you don't mention Benin city, Edo, Yoruba, Igbo, and of course it's neighbours Itshekiri and Urhobo. |

Southernminorit: Because as we in SS have said many times without number( apparently to the deaf ears of the major tribes)LANGUAGE DOES NOT SOLELY DETERMINE A TRIBE OR ETHNIC GROUP, non-SSners don't want to accept this fact and that is why they can't argue and abuse to infinity that itsekiri is Yoruba and ikwerre n ukwani are igbo Well, epie pepo r ijaws cuz they want to be ijaws, if that doesn't sound sensible try n study more on what makes a group of people a tribe/ethnic group, its the only way ull understand the south south and north central tribes 1 Like |

Probz:The name is Asaba, not ndi asaba and their language is Enuani, not enuani igbo. Stop trying to force Igbo identity upon others. For your info, before colonisation they were part of Benin Kingdom. Not ndi whatever. 1 Like |

prolog3111: Whatever about Ukwuani and Ika but Enuani’s seen as a pure Igbo dialect (not even igboid). Whatever about political identity but as far as linguistics go they’ve no grounds for Igbo denial. Fact. End. |

Probz:I hate talking to Nigerians, facts don't matter to you guys. You keep repeating a lie hoping it would somehow become truth. Continue living in your fantastic world. I'm done. |
Re: Words From The Epie Language Of Yenagoa. by Probz(m): 6:54am On Aug 03, 2019 |
prolog3111:I haven’t posted anything other than fact though have I. Enuani as a dialect is as pure Igbo as it gets. |
Re: Words From The Epie Language Of Yenagoa. by Probz(m): 6:56am On Aug 03, 2019 |
Tell me in what circles Enuani’s seen as anything other than a pure Igbo dialect other than in the fabrications of a wannabe Edoid troublemaker. I’m listening. |

Probz:For your info, the meaning of dialecte is language without a writen dictionnary, most nigérians don't know this. You all believe a dialecte is a sub language of an other language. There is no such thing as dialecte of igbo. There is igbo language and there is Enuani language and other languages. Keep repeating your lie and pray it becomes true. In reality you are only trying to force your identity upon others. Shame. |
