Abeg who can point me to a rich website that has links to all NSE quoted companies with their historical data like stockmarketnigeria of "blessed memory".
My information gathering has suffered irreparably due to the demise of that wonderful site.

They have been churning out bad results from q1.
That might be their way of reducing the company valuation grin

Hello Chief

Any idea on the tax/ statutory deductions of this N24 payout by Olam?

If the Access-Diamond bank transaction is anything to go by, then 0% deduction is expected

Go and mark it.

When Zenithbk was selling for N28 people were jumping in shouting dividend yields! dividend yield!!.
It came down to #24 they kept shouting dividend yield! dividend yield!.
It came down to N20 the shout of dividend yield increased.
Now @#18 we no longer hear the story of dividend yield!!! grin grin grin

At N18, the dividend yield after deducting WHT is 14%.

This is more than what you will get in Tbills.

I won't be surprised if smart monies start moving in to lock into the yields.

The truth remains that you can't outbuy the foreigners once they start to buy. We can only be chasing daily tops to see what we fill our orders when they are in.

Like I always say, as we are obsese, gentle dey crawl enter the event hall before slim people start to come. Take your seat and relax. When it is time, the door go close by itself. grin

So long as you are buying low, you don't need to lose sleep.

Once the direction of the market changes, just stop buying.

In bear market, stocks go back to their original owners. When it is bullish, we give it to them to hold to do the averaging up. Abi grin

Leave Yayi, she is on holiday. Most people are on holiday.

Investors brought in USD chasing Fixed income instruments. This seemed to cause a sell off in the market. This would have a psychological effect on the locals who will sell their stocks to do the same thing investors are doing. After every, they will cash out from fixed income and then plough into undervalued stocks.

These guys just chase yields and they find ways to maximize their profits. So we Sabi Dem well well.

Once they get into stocks now, expect acceleration in stock prices and the locals playing catch-up.

Just be prepared.
