I was so excited when the rumour was on air that pep will be heading to juventus.. but I believe one day they will start suffering defeat....
I still hate berca so much...they're bullies they feel as if they're on top of the world...
especially that messi I don't like...

just pray they get beaten mercilessly this season or next.

Hahahaha

Nothing spoil sha ,it's football and it's normal it makes the game more interesting, the hate and the love

I don't think Barca are still bullies

Tega Onomah officially signed with Fulham Fc meanwhile Ryan Ssegnon experienced left back goes to Tottenham.

Strange but true just turned 19 in May and has played three seasons of first team football 120+ in both the Championship and EPL.

Would you call that impressive or just OK makes him look over priced for £40 million.

Everton l assure you will be expecting a lot more.

Oga go and check Eric lamela stats at Tottenham also ,Iwobi is not a striker or that of a goal scorer

I doubt you guys will ridicule Eric lamela also ,once una see naija players una eye go shine

Eric lamela have played 129 Epl games scored 14 goals and 22 assists

Alex Iwobi 100 games 11 goals and 16 assists

Isn't Alex Iwobi stats better than Lamela stats ?

Lamela started playing in the Epl 2 seasons before Iwobi

Go and tell pochetino lamela have not been impressive or go and price him below 40 million

Nonsense and tijani

They are without doubt ambitious. My main consideration is style of play.

But look at the players they have signed and thier particular styles of play and compare Iwobi style of play.

Would you call it a perfect fit.

Iwobi going to Man U, Wolves, Newcastle and even Villa suit his style of play better and give him more expression to play.

What is Everton's style for play? They have Sigurdsson, Richarlison, Digne, Kean, Gomes, technical and attacking players

They also have an attacking coach in Marco Silva

But a certain Liverpool fan here want Everton to have 5 champions league like them before he will consider them ambitious

As if Liverpool have won the Epl for the past 20 years

I believe he has what it takes to do well at Everton especially if he is played in a central role.

Unfortunately the Everton manager is already mouthing how he sees him as a direct winger.

Do you know that Iwobi's 40mill is the highest transfer fee arsenal have received for a player? He broke the previous record of 38mill Barça played for Overmars.
He also holds the highest profit margin since Anelka who was bought for 500k and sold for about 22.5mill a season later. Iwobi bought for 0 pounds and sold for 40mill

I have always have deep hatred for arsenal, man city and berca at a time arsenal own was x2 of the others...

I start loving them...small and taking interest in their matches when iwobi came to limelight...and man city when Nacho was there...
with the way it is now... I hate both clubs and wish they finish 7th and 8th respectively in the EPL especially arsenal... except we get one of those saka and co to play for the super eagles...but for now...

I pray they loose well....

undecided then you are not a lover of good attacking football.

Nobody said liverpool is not a top club

The owners of liverpool will be sad if liverpool had not done well, na your own you talk for mouth

Manchester united are not happy but they remain a top club, everton is a club that have not achieved and they are trying to, so stop trying to twist it

Oga there is also nothing like top 6 in the epl, who form top 6? trophy dey for top 6?

I can only agree to top 4 due to champions league football

There is nothing like top 6

Na only club wey win trophy get ambition

You no like everton because na liverpool rival, Lol , Dem no dey follow you drag anything

Seems you no get my point.

EOD

The hell I don't like Everton! They don't like us either. its a mutual feeling. and I repeat again they aren't an ambitious club..a club that has spent so many years in the premier league but haven't been able to elevate their status aren't ambitious! Before man city became what they are today they were below Egerton's level... Leicester came from the championship to win the EPL..even Blackburn.. Everton are still at the level they are several decades ago. no improvement.. the only good thing I see about d move for Iwobi is that he might get to play more as a AM and under less pressure..plus more pay...I hope he doesn't stay too long there...

And mind u the term "top 6" is very valid in England! top 6 finishers get UCL and UEL spot.. And the clubs that make up the top 6 have been consistent in that position for the past 10 years.... that makes it valid!

Don't predict doom my man

Everton have Sigurdsson and Gomes and Kean the blend of technical ability and strength

I see no reason why he won't succeed at Everton

I was looking at long term progression for Iwobi not just short term possible team success at Everton.

I would like to see Iwobi evolve into a quality AM dictating the game with clever passes assists and a lot more goals.

How will he evolve at Everton, they will get him to adapt and play a restricted disciplined role as a winger to release Keane. Everton are hoping that Keane will be the new Lukaku that they have missed for so long.

I hope l am wrong but that's my initial view.

People may say Mikel did very well at Chelsea but in some other regards his talent and expression were stifled at Chelsea as he was converted from playmaker to expressionless DM and he never got to the heights we know he could have achieved.

That's my take on things it's not Doom and Gloom as you put it

It's quite funny.. u know..

When Everton were playing in the Europa league two years ago,and couldn't make it out of the group stage u mocked them right on this thread.
Now u wanna claim Everton fan because of Iwobi.. lol .
u never gave two sh*ts about them until yesterday. same way u didn't care about city until ur hero Pep joined .
Well I care less where u decide to pitch ur tent sha. its ur business not mine...
a club like Everton that have spent 116 seasons in the EPL ought to have achieved more than what they have.. their big spending this season doesn't mean sh*t! ..
