Don't fall for dividend yield stories.
Zenithbk @sub N10
GTB @sub N15
are BARGAINS!

PATIENCE is KEY!
With current global condition your quoted price is achievable in no distance time. No team since May 29, heading to 3 months, I believed no cabinet meeting since them. No vision or direction yet, our economic condition due to influence of globally happening is even worsen by internal factors due to lackadaisical approach of administration.

Assuming that all companies has released their result with current happing ASI will be dancing around 23,000. Even if the result are released, it might not resist the downtrend.

If stock keep on losing massively as of today, Argentina experience might be a child play. Stocks that shaded above 5% today are many, more than 10.

Dont think result or interim dividend can help this.....
SEPLAT grew PAT by 152.6% in their half year results and yet no positive sentiments....
Ve reduce my holdin in GT, Zenith & Nestle....
Moved fund back to 3 - 6 months TBills to reduce my loss in equity...
We hope for better days in this PMB era....

Does this help our economic in short run or long run? Did our dear president consult his economic team or his cabinet? Country make money from exporting than importing that is understandable. What effect will this have in the NSE?.

Worldwide, investors are running to the safest asset at the moment... The greenback
I received a promotional e- mail from kiakia FX. Com today, they are offering to buy 1$ at 360.
Could there be an underlying motivation for dz?
I think, adding $ as an hedge bet over a long term is a worthy risk.
In South Africa, investors are dumping bonds for US $
The story is not different in Argentina.
BY the time the NSE breeches the sub 25k,Something might happen to the Naira.
The dollar custodian certificate issued by Rand merchant bank is on steroid. Unfortunately, it is not available for Nigerian investors.
The irony of it all, the strength of US dollar is the NYSE backed by the treasury. The NYSE is falling, the 10yrs treasury bill yield is also falling, but the dollar is rising.

I would rather prefer you hold cash either naira/dollar as long as you believe there would be a reversal one day (although no one can say WHEN that would happen, but know it will surely happen someday). This could even happen between the 3-6 months before the maturity of the bills.
Atimes doing nothing is a form of strategy, in as much as the funds are yours, and you are not under any form of pressure to invest and delivers certain returns within a stipulated period.
Cash is king, and holding cash is a form of capital preservation(which should be the ultimate goal in investing)
In investing seek ye first capital preservation and every other thing will be added unto you grin

I dont think this is bottoming out, these stocks are just trying to find their TRUE VALUE .Where do you expect a stock that has made consistent losses, quarter on quarter, and has not even rewarded investors in terms of dividends in the last ten years be.
Anyway Chams is gradually coming out of the pack.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone here processed an e-dividend mandate form electronically from outside Nigeria? If yes, which bank(s) did you use? GTB is making it unnecessarily difficult.

Thanks

GTB(DataMax Registrars Ltd) registration process is very difficult .

Kindly contact your stockbroker to process your share stock transfer Form through the CSCS.

Submit to us photocopy of the stockbroker’s schedule/share stock transfer form duly acknowledged at the CSCS, attach the completed e-dividend mandate form, ensure that the completed form is stamped by your bank and forward to our office for processing

I can only imagine if Oil price go below N40 what will happen to the NSE....

We have a FOOL and one without direction as a leader who does not listen to anybody and believes he is doing right.

I keep praying for the Oil crash , so Naira can collapse, then Nigerians can have sense and put away tribe and religion when next they go to to vote.

Hold your money .....We have not scratched the surface. I said until I see a breaking news on NSE by major news terminal I won't put a penny!

Major investors are pulling out and will not be in a hurry!

I think we need to always put sentiments aside when commenting on a volatile issue like this. We all want to buy shares with good fundamentals but not definitely wishing that everything should crash to teach lessons. Who will carry the brunt?

The happenings are not new and am sure this would produce more bigger boys if the storm settled. We stood the test of the time in 2008/09 and also we would stand the test again this time, fpi can't run for life so las las we would smile. I missed buying zenith then @ #9 but this time if it happens, I will not miss the chance by God grace so no matter how doom the picture looks, the system will still produce more millionaires and billionaires in the long run. I go back to stay on top fence ooo

Oga St, stop all these dooms talk and stop wishing the country collapse just because you dont like the leadership of the country.
You talked as if Nigerians have 'better alternative' to the incumbent in the last presidential election considering the two most influential candidates.
In the meantime, this fall in prices is not peculiar to Nigeria alone, so what are you saying in essence?
Las las, we'll all get sense when we learn to stop voting all these same recycling cultists into power and seek the face of God for a good one.
