You think so? or you are just lucky. I have done IBTC severally it's sometimes less than 8hrs. Alert enters before COB same day.

Everybody that is into MMF would have his or her owner personal experience. I have only used 2 firms Stanbic seem to very OK with redemption too. I have liquidated form the comfort of my house around 8:00am in the morning & got it around 3:00pm before.

Maybe you have not activated it. If this is your first time of redeeming, I suggest you go to the bank to activate your secret question. It happened to me.

There is nothing like maturity period in MMF. What we have is minimum holding period.

Hello, please for those of us using Stanbic IBTC I noticed there has not been growth in my investment since last week thursday, am I alone in this? And how can this be rectified?

I have said it on this thread before. Stop equating stanbic IBTC bank and IBTC Asset Mgt. They are only in the same group operation wise and priorities differ. If you want to do MMF go direct to IBTC Asset Mgt. Though they could help in the Bank to link you up but it's not a priority. So don't expect the same service. It's like you go to IBTC Asset Mgt asking them to open a savings acct for you. They will just assist but you can get the same service as in when you go to the right place. Be well guided.

If it is for MMF, most of them are only for the first 30days. Some charge 20% only on the accrued interest. So, it varies

If I opened MMF account on the 03-08-2018 and made my first withdrawal by 03-06-2019 (with a little balance left). Then I add 200k on the 01-07-2019 to the balance left. Then on the 15-07-2019 I decide to redeem that 200k, will I be penalized?

I made a redemption request on the 18th August at 12pm,got the acknowledgement receipt in my mail...but the deduction hasn't been done from my account,I haven't receive the alert in my beneficiary account sef....today is 20th August...do I make another redemption request?

You can't be penalized. I am sure of FBNQUEST, Axa mansard, Stanbic

You can get credited on (Thursday) same day all things being equal.

Axas website has been erratic since the upgrade

You log in and click investments, rather than display the portfolio summary, it logs out. The process has to be repeated numerous times before the PS can be accessed.

The rate on display is still that of Monday 19-08-2019. No idea what the rate was for yesterday and today.

If the new platform isn't working, they should just rollback to the former and fix snags on this new one.

This MMF rate is just refusing to go up..

Something strange is happening in the market. I suspect investors are moving to euro market including our banks. There is this rumor about global recession. Especially with the USA/China trade wars and Brexit.
