Does Mercedes manufacture parts?
Pumps by Bosch, calipers by Bleep, pistons by Bleep, liners by Bleep etc etc. So anyone can buy from any of the Mercedes suppliers.

Not very expensive. Heard its about 5k per hour. I charge more for financial audits and verification

I dey believe you die!

Took my car to rada once, they gave me quote, I ran, the quote was almost half the price of my full car and they weren’t fixing much ohh

So if it’s 5k per hour basis, they cld decide to fix a car for 10 hours instead of the 30minutes it would normally take to do the fix? Thereby charging you madly

I doubt I wld be visiting them in the near future

I was using an is250, gave my mec to sell it cos it has come of age in my hand, so I want to switch to the benzo(always had crush on the c300, but not in any a Benz fan, I so much hate the gear lever being mounted on the steering component)

But with what I’m readin here, some comments on Benz dey scare me... wondering if I can enjoy for 4-5 years without issues asides normal maintenance

always loved Lexus from childhood but just want to experience something new

I tried very hard not to laugh while typing this. I understand you perfectly bro. Anyway, there are rates for specific jobs. An oil change will usually be an 1 hour, brake pads or caliper servicing might be 2 hours (could take the mecho more than that but that's the standard time), there are a lot of jobs that could work in your favour with regards to pricing.
Remember you're paying for expertise and experience (the person fixing your car can make it look so easy, you forget that it took him/her years to perfect his/her craft.

If you visited our shop, you would know that's not how it works. First off, estimate is showed to you for approval BEFORE repair starts not after so we don't bill based on how long it took the mechanic.

On the off chance you really did visit us and there was a misunderstanding, here is the thread explaining billing that has been on Nairaland since the beginning. Feel free to post your car model and the required repair and I will screenshot the charges here for all to see.

What makes you think I'll give you stamped original copies? You’ll only be privy to the mgmt accnts prepared and details of findings.

It is going to be very easy indeed, I don't think there will be a lot to look at in the first place

Me saying you could use 10 hours to fix a 30minutes job is merely an assumption because we know Nigerians like to manipulate situations, I’m a Nigerian but I’ll say Nigerians are to be feared, me inclusive, however there was no misunderstandings wen I visited ur shop, I was quite surprised to be charged over 900k for fixes and part, then I thought to my self the car is just 2.9m - 3.5m for toks and I drove the car with only a noise from my steering from mainland to ur shop, d noise was caused by a mec putting a bigger ac compressor in the car than car’s specific compressor size, as I see the bill, I jejely run ohh, I’ve not mentioned any of such on this forum at all and I don’t intend to soil ur name or biz, I’ll probably delete this post cos I no want trouble or spoil anybody market

Sha I dey acquire new whip soon, Incase I need any parts/servicing I MIGHT contact u and if ur price seems exorbitant I go still run again but I no go drive com ur shop cos I no like to embarrass myself con look like poor man, I no be dangote, but there’s good food on my table

Lol

Also note that the bigger compressor was fixed by a Nairaland professional too, the Nairaland guy try but probably did more harm than good to my car, I no trust anybody again, all man dey claim professional till it gets to the “work the work” part

Brotherly, you don drag her establishment this early momo, follow drag the person wer put 5 HP compressor for your 1.8 litre engine. grin grin
