So it's safe to say the major reason why the Chinese communist government acted, was because they were afraid the masses will rise up and wipe them out. Now in Nigeria the political elite isn't afraid of this because they know the masses will never attempt such, because they usually keep them in check with religion and tribal sentiment. 3 Likes |

When it comes to fighting corruption in China, even the top executives of the communist party are not spare when found guilty, they are either executed or given life harsh sentences. This people live by actions n not just petty words. Again, they don't allow Religion to control their lives. They believe in facts and reality. So until Nigeria put religion in its place and face corruption as an enemy, we will continue to move in circles 1 Like 1 Share |

Best write up in recent times compared to all the BBN drama here and their mtchhhheeeeeewwwww!!! Back to the topic, I think this article should be taken to Aso Rock to be shoved down the throat of those Our Leaders at least this will serve as a new idea coz they're obviously out of ideas. By the way, considering the fact that there is no continuity in the Nigerian system of Government, How will this work? Once again, educative and very informative write-up, looks more like an action plan in which if carefully followed will yield good results. |

MASTERCHIEF0847: Bros, right from day one, ethnic supremacy has always been our major problem. The issue is when you have issue like this, one tribe in Nigeria sees leadership as it birth right. Have u listened to their leaders talk? They just feel every other tribe must bow to them and they should control leadership. There is no way any country can work with ethnic supremacy. The Nigerian model can't work like the Chinese. These countries you mentioned, the leaders don't have fear allowing all ethnic groups properly represented. In the case of Nigeria, hausa fulani have the mentality of defeat and conquer. The best way we should start is regional based govt into six regions. That way, we can reduce the friction at the central level. To me, the UK system of govt is best for Nigeria. |

Gideoniteprime4:In China they’re death penalties o. They have zero tolerance, even for corruption in business. A ceo was once executed because the baby milk the company produced had some gmo substance dt was affecting children’s hormones. The substance was used to increase production yield & was not approved by the government. Death penalty. |

obiekunie2:it was hard for me to believe too. What that country did is simple but it can only be done by a benevolent military govt No democracy anywhere in the world can do it. Even USSR was great because they were run the way China is run now America and Europe are great because of white mentality and Christian culture...not because of democracy |

You forget to narrate the whole story. 30 million Chinese died as result of the country policy to ensure that everything was produced locally and closed the country to external goods. Things were very hard for them but they eventually come out bigger. The same Nigeria wanted to do but we couldnt endure. Politics and ethnicity in Nigeria would not allow us to unite and make decisive steps. raker300: 1 Like |

Xi Jinping, the leader of the People's Republic of China, does not have his own aircraft but instead uses two Boeing 747-400s that belong to Air China and are regularly used for normal scheduled flights. Here in Nigeria, Buhari alone his using like 4 aircraft and many fleet of cars. The running cost of this alone can finance a health center. bareal: 4 Likes |

I laugh when i read stuff like this. Some people think that our leaders don't know what to do to lift its people out of poverty or give uninterrupted power supply or make the economy very favorable. They know all these things. But they will NEVER do it. They are greedy and wicked and love to abuse power. It is in their blood to loot. There is no love in their hearts. |

MASTERCHIEF0847:All those countries except brazil has one Major ethnicity with other minority. Brazil itself is still a developing nation with high poverty rate and that because it's also has a diversity problem. Africa's case is different. Nobody wants to be seen as a minority. Every group wants to be at the top. That's why the African continent has major number of civil wars.

raker300: to be frank, China is not 70 years old. the people republic of China is 70 but China is over 2000 years. it existed as different dynasties, like Ming, Han etc And have always been an advanced society, they invented printing, paper currency and many ground breaking advancements. I will rather say Israel, who got their independence in 1948 after the holocaust. |

MASTERCHIEF0847:diversity can not stop development of cause... If in 1957 Western region and eastern region left they would have been miles ahead of were Nigeria has placed them today...both regions were diverse at independence. What is holding Nigeria back is Hausa Fulani...they introduced every aspect of corruption in our country today... every aspect |
