Am I the only one just noticing you can do a fare review on uber?. I finished a trip and I saw the fare was low and distance, I just tried under trips and adjustments and it was reviewed instantly and I got the actual fare.

Unless the person is dubious, Uber will ask you again if you are accepting the price multiplier before confirming the request.
Unfortunately, too many dumb people and semi educated riders out there, they come cute at times, no brain. There's no reason to explain to a rider about a surge situation before or during a trip. A rider should see the estimate before a request is confirmed. If the rider disputes the fare at the end of the trip, only then you can do a minor explaining as to why the fare was high. If the dispute continues, advise the rider to channel his/her complaint to Uber and move ahead. If a rider is that ignorant not to know about surge, it's not your fault. Report when the rider doesn't pay full and the account will be flagged as fraudulent.

Hmmm, well it can only work if it's Uber. If it's Taxify you better use style explain to the person otherwise get ready to fight, or what will you do when u get to destination and the person refuses to pay? Fight?

Here you are talking about "a disorganisation" where an organisation is talked about.

It's not a big deal. Rely on your map to start with and then u will get familiar with the roads.

U will experience less issue with police and all. There are lesser one way in Abuja ..roads are good and wide. Streets are named. Don't be sacred. Nobody will disturb u wherever u park while waiting for request

Note: ..don't break traffic rule
Don't pick rider from normal bus stop. If the pick up location is major bus stop, tell the rider to walk foward to avoid agbero people.

I drive in Abuja.
thanks I'm very grateful

So : a fool just called me now.

Him : hello this is from Bolt, a rider just complained now that you owe her 500 naira change , and she requested that you should buy card and send to her and you refused. If you know what’s good for you send her that card now or else you’ll be blocked immediately. Bye .

Me called back: first of all Mr , Bolt does not call it’s drivers, secondly , without listening you hung up on a partner , if you were bolt is that how you’d even treat drivers?

He : cos I don’t have anything to say to you. Uche messages , but I call.

Me: Oga respect yourself and don’t ever call me back, I’ve sent her 5h change since.

Aye le... OMO ale jatijati

I hope it's not the babe I just dropped off at addo road, if it is then I'm certain you have not sent the recharge card she asked you to send since to send the 5h de hard.

Babe complained about the fact that dude has refused to send her change since the day before yesterday. Called the guy, oga said Shey na because of 5h she de send am that kain message, that he feels insulted... Oya send th recharge card and lets all forget that we ever met, oga de talk say network no good.

Does your number ends with 070*****4444?

I don't know whuvh sport you like, but I'll guess it's high jump. Cos sir , you and someone here just jumped to conclusion. But Anyway, it cant be me. .
I picked up this Lady from Alma beach estate to ikoyi and back, her change was 800. I transferred the 5h. Probably wema issues didnt credit her account. And after much calls the next two day, had to park and get card for her after a trip.

Message delivered, i will probably call her tonight with a screen shot of the WhatsApp message. But threatening me and disguising to be from Bolt would have been something really low class to do.

Good luck driving, I pray we meet sensible peoole on our way

You said you filled your corolla with the exact 3k fuel to check and see if my corolla consumes or not, wow thanks.

So these the latest update... I thought about not writing about these issue again and later changed my mind to write because the thread Is for our challenges faced and a thread were we learn from other peoples experiences. So that's why am dropping these.

Also have been trying to get the attention of gazzuzz but I haven't gotten it yet. Gazzuzz if you're reading these please let have your two cent and want to do to remedy these.

So today i went to do uber inspection for the corolla and the report below shows that

My o2 sensor is bad, clutch torque converter circuit wire is tempered with.. So I did a little research to know what the adverse effect of the clutch converter issue will be,

********

How Serious is the Code?
A P0740 diagnostic trouble code means that the ECU isn’t in complete control of the torque convertor, so drivability issues are sure to follow. Situated between the transmission and the engine, the torque converter works to equalize the speed by multiplying the torque in order to optimize vehicle performance (increases fuel efficiency and reduces the transmission fluid temperature.

Symptoms
Symptoms of a P0740 include:

Check engine light
Delayed, harsh or erratic shifts
Engine stalling
Transmission shudders/shakes when coming to a stop or accelerating
Getting ‘stuck’ in a gear
Vehicle won’t move when in gear
Decreased fuel economy
Overheated transmission

Causes

Low transmission fluid level
Dirty transmission fluid / filter
Damaged wiring/connector
Faulty torque convertor clutch solenoid / TCC solenoid
Faulty torque convertor and/or clutch assembly
Internal pressure issue
Valve body issue
TCM failure

Then I think we all know the negative effect of a faulty or damage o2 sensor...

This is both on UBER AND BOLT.

However , uber responds better than bolt.

Uber kinda balances driver -rider satisfaction and their profit
But almighty Bolt is more concerned with more riders and profit.

Once drove someone From Ajao estate to lekki phase one around freedom road 5am. And Bolt charged 500naira. Of course its an error and I complained but that money wasn't refunded. The real guy gave me 1,500 though. I'm still in pain many months after. Occured plenty times on android. Im on iOS now sha.

Good luck
