onitsha - enugu expressway

Seme - mile 2 express road

Benin - Warri roads.

See don't know about the rest roads but you see this onisha-enugu expressway I personally saw it, it is under construction as we speak.. why not trying commending the fact that the eye sore once experienced when you ride through onisha from asaba has been tackled...go Back and see the beautiful roads constructed by Julius Berger team from Onitsha heading to awka...the road is bad when you hit places around igbariam road but the minutes you get to Awka it is a cool ride down to Enugu...I am saying this because I was in Enugu last month and I practically witnessed this

sufferNmiling idiot, I have said I won't say too much on this thread due to the recycling unending argument which I just recently discovered dates back to the times I was unaware of this existence of this thread...

Now let's say that is lagos-Ibadan which it isn't, I am pretty sure you must have seen construction ungoing and the massive girdlock it created during your illusory visit to Ibadan...... That road is expected to be completed before festive period due to the amount if people that would heavily ply that route when travelling out if Lagos to their respective hometowns as. Well as returning... So please save me your stupidity...

Now from Lagos State to River City. Some people are very good in fooling themselves

Cute pictures feel free to post more, but it doesn't change my factual statements. There is more industrialization and contruction going on in a single individual Nigerian state than the entirety of Kenya, ghana, BOTSWANA combined. Accept it and move on with what little life you have. grin

I was even in Awka last month now back to Port Harcourt. The Onitsha to Awka road is under construction. I have passed their countless times anytime I want to visit Awka. They're still working on it.

Oya child of 8, where are thou angry

The Nigeria Union of Mines Workers has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for taken a bold step toward revitalization of the ailing Ajaokuta steel company through the propose signing of an agreement with Russia , the original builders of the steel plant.

Chairman of the union, Ajaokuta steel branch, Comrade Mohammed Abdulsalam Jimoh, who gave the commendation in Lokoja Tuesday while addressing newsmen on independent day, said the federal government for the first time in many years was about to take a right step toward a right direction to bring back the original builders of the steel plant in order to revitalise and make it operational.

“Alas, many concessions has taken place in the past without result, even one of the concession between the federal government and Solgas Energy Limited resulted to litigation that took over ten years before it was resolved .

“The concession failed in its totality because the companies were not the original builders and they don’t have any idea of the steel plant.

“Now that President Muhammadu Buhari led administration has taken a bold step to bring the original builders of the plant back to complete the plant, I am optimistic and confident that in no distance time what we have been dreaming and cleaving for will come back to life” the union leader said.

While appealing to President Buhari not to renege on his laudable plan for Ajaokuta steel company, Comrade Jimoh describe the effort of the present administration as a welcome development that will put the country on a threshold of industrialization.

“I am calling on the management and staff of the steel company to support the president with prayers to enable him actualise his plan of going to Russia to sign an agreement for the completion of the integrated plant that will create enormous jobs and generate huge revenue for the government” he added.

Speaking further the union leader , said that Ajaokuta steel workers deserve national honour for maintaining and keeping the giant plant against vandalization, saying the technical audit conducted in 2010 and 2018 clearly indicated that all the equipment are intact.

According to him “It is unacceptable for any body to claim that the steel workers are redundant. If not for the workers the plant could not have passed the several technical audit conducted to ascertain the standard of the plant”

After all this time you guys still don't get it-AJAOKUTA IS DEAD!? Smelting technology has moved on from the 70s processes Ajaokuta was designed for! Nowadays algorithims streamline operations from mining to smelting! Look at Tata:
Leading players such as Vedanta Group-controlled Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) and Tata Steel are riding the digital wave to streamline efficiency and shore up productivity at their mines.

HZL has has implemented digitisation in its mining operations, aiding in developing intelligent mines that are smart, connected, wired and analytical. Digitisation of mines has helped the company to build algorithms that has further enhanced accuracy in the mining operations and has made mining for HZL more efficient- right from exploration to metal production
https://www.business-standard.com/article/economy-policy/hindustan-zinc-tata-steel-lean-on-digitised-mines-to-boost-productivity-119051501183_1.html

Will you revive Ajaokuta and its analog processes to compete with the likes of digitised Tata? Its like the story of our Uchumi supermarkets-near death, every year for over a decade the government announces a new 'rescue package,' complete with new manager and fresh financing, restructuring etc,etc and most shops are still like this!
