Dude, grown ups face reality! You're up against 2 insurmountable odds:the Naij subculture that makes planning and implementation in the smallest way a major miracle and the facts of the modern world THAT DON'T WANT DEVELOPING NATIONS GETTING INVOLVED IN SUCH PROJECTS! Fyi,talk of reviving Ajaokuta began in 92!? The story of Tyaz Prom Export, the Russian engineering giants who built the plant and the multifarious agendas by Naijjans and the West to sabotage the projects are worthy of an award winning documentary!
Here's a little:
https://www.facebook.com/NatashaAkpo...54065985231758

Its a looonggg read but necessary for all of us Kenyans included to understand the way the world works!

Noise. Ajaokuta has been abandoned at 60% completion for over 40 years and recent administrations has always blown that horn if failed promises and deceptive lies to revive it but they end up doing no shiit due to corruption... Obasanjo , yaradua, Jonathan came made that noise and went without doing anything..Do you know that the last time before now that work was done on that project was in1994(if I remember correctly) and that was when Buhari briefly ruled as a millitary head of state...And when he came in 2015 reasurring us to continue that project most of us hissed and never took him serious due to the Experience and numerous heart breaks we have suffered from the previous administration s ..But he proved us wrong just as he did with sgr and so many road , airport project. Since 2016/2017 that work commence there he has been able to move the 60% completed ajaokuta to 99% complete in just a few years. He was confronted around the Q1 of this year to approve the final $1bn to complete the project but he declined stating that the country CAnnot afford to release that amount currently but promised his dedication to privatising it for completion and destroying the ring of corruption it will generate when completed...and yes he has done that....All that remains for ajaokuta steel Industry to kick-start is just a few technical issue, rails connecting the facility to God knows where, roads where trucks can pass when moving this steel..

I might not be a big fan of this administration mostly due to the insecurities he has allowed under his watch but when it comes to infastructure he has outperformed all the leaders that have rules Nigeria in my time......

I've observed that in most West African countries beautiful stone work isn't much appreciated-the walls are plastered all over.Regardless of that point,it's nice seeing development in Ghana!

Stone house might be your style but it's not just ours...we love plastering it with cement and painting them to look shinny

Repair works have started at the Anthony- Oworonshoki Road area of Lagos. Anthony is an urban place that has a close road network with Oshodi and Oworonshoki is closer to the dreaded 3rd Mainland Bridge. It will be recalled that the reconstruction of the 32-kilometre Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki-Ojota in Lagos was performed last year by the Minister of Power, Works, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The reconstruction of the road’s Section 1, Sub-section A, will begin from the Olorogun Michael Ibru Boulevard (former Creek Road) end of Port Novo Bridge and Liverpool road, in Apapa, through Coconut, Beachland Estate interchange bridge, Cele Bus Stop, Anthony Village, to Old Lagos Toll Gate.

The whole length of the road will be paved with reinforced concrete by Dangote Industries Limited at a whopping cost of N73 billion, using the Road Trust Fund policy.

The fund is a form of public, private partnership, conceived to accelerate the provision of federal roads by allowing private sector operators to collectively fund road projects in exchange for tax credit.

“The Road Trust Fund policy gives private sector operators an incentive to fund infrastructure with the government. This is an innovative and laudable scheme, we are putting our money upfront,” said the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

For those coming from MMIA, you must have noticed some additions to the pavement by HITECH team, well, it seems they are upgrading the road and they are going all the way to Ojota.

AutoReportNG got some new pictures of this road and how the workers are faring, see below...

https://www.autoreportng.com/2019/10/see-on-going-repair-works-at-anthony.html

Great..I was glad when I learnt of this road trust fund policy this week..it will enable most of our road get fixed as they will be controlled by the private sector hence maintenance will be their headache not FG...Expect to start seeing the toll gate culture back on so many of our highways(one that Obasanjo scrapped)...

We don't pay road tax and that us why roads are not maintained but with this system road tax can be collected by private sector and utilised on our roads....

no it doesn't contradict your meaning of deploy, actual quite to the contrary infact.

All the above states is, even if proforce wanted to, it would not have been able to sell anything to the UN due to their deployment policy.

Thus conclusion: Proforce has not sold anything to Southern Africa or the UN.

Should I bring back my evidence, you seems to be mixing things up here grin

when are you gonna post pictures of Botswana. With a population that isn't up to the least populated state in Nigeria, they should be doing better than most Countries in Africa.
