Stop being mischievous. I've been using GCam flawlessly since God knows when.

How many likes your comment gets will be many truthful users of specifically the rn7 who uses Gcam without hanging nor crashing issues.

Have a nice day

I know someone using a RN7 who shoots decent pictures with stock camera. He doesn't even know what Gcam means. People use Gcam because it shoots better pictures doesn't mean the stock shoots bad pictures.

Good, better, best... I hope you can relate? You're talking as if the stock camera shoots "bad" pictures and that's very wrong. If you can have an icing on the cake, is it wrong to go for it?

Please be honest stock cam back and front of the rn7 is not good. Even the stock front cam of the Samsung Galaxy A10-30 with exception of the recent A10s to A30s and even A40s.
To prove this I can quote numerous posts on this thread. And numerous posts outside this thread. And in further proof there is no time were Rn7 has not been mentioned without adding Gcam to better the picture quality

It's not about the likes, but what it means in this case. In this case it means a headcount of those who are not experiencing any form of hanging or crashing of the Gcam 3rd party camera app

I didn't know that you have Gcam from different developers. [s]Nevertheless those monikers are too versed in software to have downloaded a wrong or bad Gcam
I can look for their conversation on this thread and quote it if you want me to[/s]
There are many things you probably don't know and please let's have quote of those people you mentioned that are versed in software

Samsung and most brands don't have to install gcam to make their stock camera better . If a Samsung S or N series user installs GCam, it will not be out of a necessity , it will be out of just wanting to get more quality out of their pictures.
And I have never seen any Samsung S series user that requested for a GCam install. I am saying this because my friend @Grandmufti specifically said Samsung. I am not in anyway comparing Xiaomi and Samsung

Did you just say Samsung and most brands don't have to install Gcam?? My guy pls grin
Most of my guys use Gcam on their Samsung flagships. Gcam is also needed on Samsung phones too. Stock camera is good, very good but if you want better pictures you get Gcam. Gcam has very good software, Google spent so much money and time on that Google camera, more than any OEM has on a camera app. Getting Gcam for your phone doesn't mean your stock camera is bad in any way or the software sucks.
I hope you read these tweets and learn. It's not a Samsung or Xiaomi thing.

Thank God for the developers who help port them.
Getting Gcam means you just want better pictures and I think that's the beauty of android. The ability to customise and have options.

I am not opposing the fact that your phone with Gcam produces better pictures. Statistically not even Gcam will make the rn5plus beat the camera on an S8plus. Because the gcam is just a software that gives better performance to the Devices hardware. It cannot act in solitude or more than the devices camera pixel.

You didn't read my post well. Theres a difference between need and want. Rn7 needs gcam, Samsung users want Gcam. Theres a major difference between needing something and wanting something.

And from what you posted your Samsung users want Gcam they don't need it as asserted by you.

KngGezy, not all arguments/debates are won o. Learn to agree or accept superior arguements.

GCam requires settings to operate normally and once you configure it wrongly or installed non compatible version, it must crash. This applies to all apps. Also, not everyone uses GCam; I have GCam on my 2 devices but I rarely use the GCams.

2) OTA: What's the issue with OTAs? Is it about the frequency of the OTAs or installation? No installation issues AFAIK. Frequency is just to address complaints or add more features (that's why most people stick with MIUI). I sold my RN4 because of no update (new feature additions), nothing else. Gmail, WhatsApp, AliExpress release updates wella (you can say they're just apps, but updates are updates).

3) Any other issues would likely be as a result of the bn new to the MIUI skin. Not saying the brand is issue free but majority are due to bn new to the skin or user errors.

If you're here when I first joined Xiaomi; my 1st complaint was that my selfie camera was blurry! Thanks to the Gees (GrandMufti and Gptech, I think eleojo23 too) that asked if I'd removed the lens film! The rest na history. Would you have categorised that as device issue too?

What you can classify as brand/device error is/are issues that couldn't be resolved through Settings, hard reset or software flashing that are not user inflicted issues too.

I can only confirm that majority of them don't know how to take pictures. When I give my phone out for people to take pics, the quality cant be compared to when I'm the one taking it.

Once again at oga jboixx ,i will keep on calling on you because you are the advocate of peace . And it is not like me to be reporting monikers over trivial issues. And for my values I wont reply in like manner.

Now to the issue Samsung is said to supply cameras and amoled screens to Xiaomi.
Apart from that except the S8 is a clone it is impossible and an absolutely false claim

I respect this moniker alot. But a software issue is it not from the makers of the software (brand). And Sir you still made mention of software flashing which is the same thing as rooting which I had earlier said.

And how so sure are you that GCam is a need to all RN7 users? You're just making general statements that makes people "attack" you unnecessarily. Even if you're using flagship device, if you don't take photography conditions into use, you'll still get bad results. Professional photographers took several shots before chosen one not cuz the camera isn't good enough but cuz they believe they can get something better by adjusting lens, position or postures.

GCam is NEVER a need but a want.

Same for Xiaomi . Its a Want. Not compulsory... But if you want better photos on Samsung or Xiaomi. Grab Gcam.
Your tone is of someone who believes Samsung stock camera is really goooood and they don't need Gcam at all. If you think that, you don't really know Samsung then.
FYI I'm a former S8 user.
