M111 was discontinued in 2003. It was in use in the C class from W202 to W203, until 2004 when M271 was introduced.

I thought it wouldn’t be so nice having to discuss this on this thread. Also, I wanted some experienced person to convince me strongly against it. I have deep love for 4 cylinder, so my interest in that one; also the facelift is so beautiful, reason why I’m not really feeling the prefacelift that has M111.

A friend of mine has the M272; the 2007 C230, 2.5 I6.

I just seek guidance.

So gentlemen does that means that the c230 kompressor on a w203 is not favourable in this country based on the temp , water and oil pump wahala. Pls I need this ride but if it's not worth pls do explain but if we have ogas that have been using this lovely ride for more than 3 years without changing engine pls what's ur secret behind this success. It cannot withstand stress and is very hard to work on,so you have to change it at the slightest opportunity
I have bought 3 of them under a year so I know.
First time I had an incident,it was due to overheat!
If the m271 overheats so much that it stops on its own,sorry it is not coming back!
You must buy another engine.
Second time was flood.
Supercharger intake is so low,beneath the fan so any water that gets in bursts the engine block instantly!no 2 ways about it!
Third engine was due to oil.if oil gets too low and pressure isn't much,the oil pump self destruct immediately and it is impossible to replace and have a good performance,reason I bought another engine.
This one now dey serve me well all thanks to experience.
The legs of that car too is something else
It is one difficult car to maintain,honest truth!
But it will give you demonic speed,that is if you love speeding like me

The M112 V6 is orgasmic. 224 hp and 315Nm @3000rpm! The movement is crazy.... And you alight at your destination like someone who took a 12km drive instead of 120km... Very comfy...the C320 is also a case study...but not as robust as the E Klasse and Sonderklasse
