Hahaha, just came back from Maiduguri last month. Got to Abuja 11 hours later and after countless military/JTF check points, encountered not more than 2 customs checkpoints (none requested for paperwork). Car is relatively new (toks), plate number dey shine anyhow

Try that same journey from Abuja to Calabar or Lagos

My brother u were just lucky at that period of ur journey. Moreover if ur papers are intact, u won’t have worries meeting them any day.
Those guys are on serious look out for cars without duties, seizing cars anyhow as if most of them don’t have a hand in it.

It would have been better they requested ooo so you can be sure that all is well. I have experienced customs wahala when i dey do car business with regular purchase in Cotonou. Customs are notorious than Police ooo. I don sleep for Ofosu before Benin if coming from Lagos. I spent 3 days with them looking like a mad man the 3rd day and ended up paying to get my car out.

And na because i Sabi one custom man then ooo. So i don't take chances with Customs. It is better vehicle is underpaid than having fake customs paper. Many of those vehicle for North dey cheap but customs paper dey get wahala

Customs are in Gombe going from one car sellers to another to check the their payment. Even between Bauchi and Jos custom officers there. So the north is not safe for one buying cars without custom papers. So is better one get careful when buying any car.

How far the fan, does it make a lot of noise like the C240?

I like the fact that my engine is sooo cool and u can barely hear it's sound when idling.

To me ooo, the C320 is a better ride when compared to the C230. Well, preference differs but my choice would definitely be the C320. Whoever told you that you the C320 chops fuel didn't know what he's saying or may be the one he saw has an unattended issue.

Papers are intact anyway. I usually verify papers with one of the VIN guys on here. He's fast and on point.

As for fan noise,Merc fans aren't suppose to be loud except there is a problem,perhaps heating issues or the guy is running it on emergency mode(removed thermostat tinz).
My car rarely makes that loud fan noise except when the engine has ran for too long and heat build up,then it will run loud for a short period(few mins) and return back to normal.
C240s are fucking slow,you will hate it coming from a c230k.
But I suggest you chill a little and get yourself a durable C300.
It is more rigid,solid,beautiful and recent too.
C230k go soon reach 20 years o,ABI you want dey cruise 15 year old car?
It is a decision you will regret say after 2years so no need.
