Well, if you say so.

Zambia has never been a match to Nigeria in football. We often seem to always have our way against. I have been trying to see if I can remember any game we lost to Zambia at any level of football.

As for Mbesuma. I always laugh when I watch him run on the pitch grin Na him dem suppose call the HEAD MASTER grin
Sure, while their Xeno neighbour still believe say we be rival for football when they’re no match for Zambia. Zambia plays beautiful attacking football and i love to watch them play even though they fall short and end up losing when they square up with more experienced sides, but they remain the best team down south. grin

Baba leave collins ooo, aside the head the guyman fit, I still remember how jam Omeruo cmot for ball to score that goal against us during the WC qualifier grin

sometimes the other team is just simply better and no coach or technical bench can change the fact of induvial brilliance on the field, today we were simply outclassed by the better team. The west are too physical for us we need to play more friendlies and even change the diet of our players to beef up more power.

For the past two decades now Nigeria has not lost to Zambia and i don't think that will change any time soon. there just don't have that zeal, most South African teams find it difficult to defeat Nigeria i just don't know why.

I think the last I can remember was they stopping us from qualifying for the 1986 AFCON to be hosted in Egypt.

It's a thing of the mind more than an organizational thing

It's a football inferiority complex

Back then in junior secondary we read a passage titled "The Match That Broke The Myth" and it was about Zambia and Nigeria in the 80s or so. I don't think it was a fiction

I said something yesterday. Nigeria is parading an U-23 team boasting players that do not even make the Top 20 U-23 talents of the Nation home and abroad.

Meanwhile Zambia unleashed their best 3 U-23 talents upon us yet they were slaughtered.

Na U-23 Team C Dem play biko. No be Team B.

And come to think that they have really had so much hopes on that their team to take Zambian football to the next level. It is a serious blow to the future of Zambian football.

Well, you really cannot blame them. F.Sakala, E.Mwepu and Patson Daka.... Especially that Patson Daka... are their brightest young stars and play in Europe. It is a huge blow but they should take solace in the fact that they lost to the Kings of Age grade Football in Africa, Nigeria. Nigeria's pool of exciting young talents is so deep and wide that we could afford to put out this current team in Egypt knowing fully well the wealth of our U-23 top talents scattered all over the globe.

Zambia cannot boast the depth and wealth of talents we have. They play exciting football, yes... But what I think they need to develop is that Resilience and Steel to grind out results even when at your worst. This is a trait Nigerian teams boast in general. It is a DNA thing.

Also, Zambia needs better coaching. To be frank, I rate the Zambian team as far more Formidable than Chriskel's Kouame and company from Ivory Coast. grin

Zambia has Invested so much in this crop of players. They are like an emerging golden generation. They believe so much in the team.
But like I said earlier yesterday, things don't always work out like that.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:32am On Nov 13, 2019
Yeah. But golden generation get levels. wink The Zambians can still get it right with those guys maybe not in terms of winning a trophy but in terms of breaking into Africa's Top 8 in Major Competitions like the Afcon.

Right now, they should try get to Cameroun 2021. From there, we shall see.

Cameroon 2021 qualifiers that they have sacrificed because of the Olympics qualifiers. I hope they will not lose both tickets in the process.

1. Victor Osimhen, one of the finest Young Number 9s in World football today doing his thing in yesterday's traing session.

2. Ola Aina, High flying Torino Wingback Elite getting in the groove in yesterday's training session.

3. Ahmed "Air Nigeria" Musa showing his fitness in yesterday's training session. He may not start today's game as he just returned from a long injury layoff. May get some minutes off the bench but time will tell.

Lol... They can still make it in second place. We have 12 groups. The 12 group winners qualify alongside the best 11 second placed teams. One will miss out provided it is not Cameroun.

It might seem to be a blow to their future though but not necessarily True because Our physicality was the thing that overpowered them yesterday

While also noting that the Head-to-head stuff is always a difficult circumstance to overturn easily, hence their slump.

The penultimate statement above is why everyone is chorusing #EMERYOUT from my darling ARSENAL since he is finding it difficult to see off easily the EPL Teams his predecessor-ARSENE WENGER usually put away comfortably.

All in all, Those guys can still reshape the future of ZAMBIAN football perfectly.

The Official NFF matchday photo is this below... They used Samuel Kalu.
