Danielnino00: If you were in the Eredivisie that may be reasonable but not in a league rated 20 in Europe. It's progress from the abyss he was in before but not good enough for the SE. That's if we want to pursue excellence and not mediocrity. Hopefully next season he moves to a higher league and his progression continous. If it doesn't then he remain where he is. No bar has been lifted if anything the bar is being lowered unfairly to accommodate him by many here. So what do you see me trying to do pleaseā 1 Like |

edi287: Every Nigerian should be made to play 9 at least once in their lives so they can see it is not easy. I will keep singing that for years as a Barcelona fan I have watched Luis Suarez miss too many chances and still retain his status as one of the most lethal finishers in the world. Even Messi has been joining him to be missing. Ororo too has been missing at least 2 a match for 3 seasons now. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Eartquake1: What I'm saying is that there are people with the interest of Naija football at heart without financial incentive who are active at the local govt level and grassroots. It won't be bad to look for someone like that. After all, Joseph was brought from prison to help guide a Nation through impending famine |

Nigeria U15 Coach Opens Door For Chelsea Starlet, 19-Goal West Ham Winger To Train With Future Eagles Nigeria U15 national team coach Usman Haruna has opened the door for dual-eligible players, Chelsea's Ashley Akpan and West Ham's Joseph Johnson in particular, to train with the Future Eagles. While the Nigeria Football Federation are yet to make a move to cap Akpan, who is also eligible to play for Poland and is on the radar of the English FA, Hammers young winger Johnson has been sounded out to the technical department of the NFF about his availability to play for the Future Eagles. Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com, Haruna explained : ''We cannot disenfranchise any Nigerian because for the fact they were born outside does not mean we should disenfranchise them. ''The most difficult part of it is that we don't encourage scouting for players from outside the country because we have a lot of talents here but if anyone of them can come and try their luck and compete with the players born in Nigeria, we will appreciate that. ''It's their country, everybody is free. If I fall into their category I don't want anybody to disenfranchise me but the question is there are a lot of resources that go into inviting players from outside. ''If you can do that yourself, come here and participate in what we are doing with the other boys, why not. And that's what Omidiji was doing. ''It is free to participate but we will not go to the level we want to look for U15 players outside, that means you are a lazy coach when you have talents here that can be made to be the Maradona of tomorrow.'' Haruna was pressed more on the possibility of Akpan and Johnson earning call-ups to the Future Eagles and he replied: ''If we are in camp, we will encourage them. Nobody can say they cannot be part of it.'' Joseph Johnson took his tally for the season to 19 goals after scoring against Peterborough United U16s this past weekend. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: ANS 4 Likes 1 Share |

jieta:You are very correct about the reference to icon4s' submission sometime back even when I wasn't available here as at then because in truth there is actually a definite formula for calculating the points But I only did the direct calculation reference earlier for 1. Simplicity sake 2. Because after the october 24th edition of the ranking, only 2 matches have been place 3. With Nigeria being ranked 35th against Benin (ranked 82nd) & Lesotho (ranked 138th) compared to Tunisia's (ranked 29th ) matches against Libya (ranked 103rd) & Equatorial Guinea (ranked 135) So, the points to be garnered even when the formula is applied would be insignificant towards displacing Tunisia from the second position presently because both oppositions are way way below |

darkelf: First of all football administration in Nigeria is intrinsically POLITICAL. It mirrors what happens in our elections when it comes to selection of the NFF President. It's just on a small-scale that's all. There is money to be made and participanys want that money. THATS THE MOTIVATION and has been for donkey years. Just like in our society l don't think there has ever been a free and fair elections. What we have is degrees of rigging. So in the course of trying to get to office you sell your soul to the devil and murder all your convictions of righteousness in the process. Honest trustworthy people may attempt but they will never succeed. IMO The reality is that the people of a nation reflect it's leadership. We get what we deserve we are too ready to sell our birthright for a pot of porridge. Amaju may do a few things right like all our politicians do but different degrees. But will fill.thuer very deep pockets in the process. And yes l know Amaju well. 1 Like 1 Share |

Danielnino00:Yes you are very correct but i only used that anology for simplicity sake because the oppositions for both teams - Tunisia and Nigeria are way way below in the ranking and thus no significant points would be accumulated within the month of November when the formula is applied. Besides, The reason for embolding the points difference as well as the assertion of a not less than 4 matches winning streak with an opposite loss for Nigeria are meant to emphasize the difficulty in upstaging Tunisia presently. Its just like how i tried to clarify my earlier post to darkelf above too. |

Odunayaw:Very well but above all, That crowd is not weekly scenery. Though I am quite familiar with Jos and how crazy they are in relation to the local clubs around especially Plateau United and Mighty Jets among others too owing to the fact that some of the Nigeria's National Team players - Both past and present used to done their colours. Above all, It was a very very impressive outing indeed 1 Like |

komekn:When i saw the mention darkelf gave you i know today is a good day for you to not only take a swipe at our NFF but to remind us of how corrupt we are, i know that in fact most of us here know that. You have also share your personal experience about corruption while you were here in Nigeria. I'm not disputing anything you put up here but my only concern is that you have never for once share corruption cases happening in the football association of the English teams is it that there are not corrupt? or they don't engage in sharp practice. If you don't mind I will appreciate it if you share one or two cases |

Only God knows) as the players from TB Joshua's My People FC football club of Lagos. Somehow somehow, there was joy and celebration at the synagogue for their feet. IHEANACHO was as described by Safarigirl above OMERUO? I dont think he made it to U 17 level too KAYODE? I dont even know anything about him |
