That's hard. But what was the refusal point ticked?

And I think you should have included your bank statement even if you aren't spending a dime from your bank account for the trip this is to show your economic situation in Nigeria.

Are you the owner for the said business?

Regarding the appeal, did you receive an acknowledgement email that your appeal has been received officially in Nantes? If yes, from the date of acknowledgement count 60 days to see if your appeal wait period has elasped.

Coming from port Harcourt ideally you should submit in lagos.

HRprof:

Recieve my passport it came out negative... I dont know what went wrong.
My transcripts
I submitted all necessary documents including,
CAC Document. . My business
Invitation letter
Sponsor ID and bank statement (my sponsor indicated on the letter that he will take responsiblity for all expenses ) did not submit my bank statements because I'm not spending a deal.
My Deed of assignment was return to me during submittion at vfs Abuja , I was told is not acceptable in Abuja but lagos do accept it.
My professional licence which relates to my business.
Meanwhile I was told to go to Lagos and submit because abuja is not my jurisdiction because I'm coming from PH otherwise I sign a paper before submitting, I agree and sign.
However I have been refuse visa August which I wrote appeal and they responded and ask me to wait for 2 months if I didn't get respond it means it has been denied.
I also included the appeal and the respond written in French.

Please what did I do wrong? Should I go to Lagos and submit?

These people actually need to be convinced that you are doing well in Nigeria.

As a business man who owns his company, if the company is doing well, you should have added the bank statement of the company and yours

Thanks for your response.
I am the owner of the business and its indicated on the CAC, I even include bank reference of my business account but not the bank statement.

I received acknowledgment from Nantes, it was actually written and send by my sponsor in France, I only recieved it from my sponsor via email both appeal and acknowledgment.

They wrote in the acknowledgement that i should wait 2 months to elapse which I did.

At least you have a passport?

Just apply first irrespective of your failing(supposed).... You can not be sure!

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 3:39pm On Nov 27, 2019
First is this a business visa or Tourist visa?

I think this is where you got it mixed up.

Including a bank reference of your business account without including the bank statement is a NO. You should have still included your business account statement irrespective of the sponsorship.
What's the connection between your sponsor and your business if this is a business trip? Is the person a silent partner ?
If sponsor isnt related to your business and without substantial evidence to prove relationship, I doubt the person can be a sponsor if you are going on a business trip.

Is a tourist visa not for business
The person is a friend not business partner.
I didn't include my business bank statement, I felt is not necessarily but I made mistake not including my personal bank statement. My travel date is January.
Meanwhile I did the packaging myself didn't involve anyone.
The refusal is based on 8 and 9

Well you have to put in another application with a less complex documentation.
Use your company account and personal account since it's a tourist visa application to show that you are buoyant and stable in Nigeria.

Using the sponsorship route isnt credible to them in your case as some information provided doesnt add up.

Now Put yourself in the VO's shoes, would a bouyant business owner in Nigeria go for tourism under the sponsored of a friend?

You have to forget about your sponsor . First prove to them you are stable here with a thriving business and focus on getting the tourist visa yourself.

Okay maybe I should not even use invitation letter I should apply without someone inviting me and take responsible of my trip. If so I have to visit another shengen embassy where I don't have any person in that country not France any more since is forbidden to be sponsored as a business owner. Meanwhile I'm a lady
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 4:53pm On Nov 27, 2019
It's not forbidden rather the application documentation here that is complex. Tread carefully , otherwise you will be seen as a Visa Shopper. If it's just tourist give it some time and visit some other european country. Then come back in some months

Mostly a night's money has to be withheld, whether you pick the no prepayment option or not, noticed this with the UK and France hotels already in the past few weeks.

Not true

There are over 100 filters on Booking.com and Hotel.com

Just select Hotel with free cancellation.

Why speak with so much authority? Well, my experience these past few weeks is what I just put up here. It’s not compulsory you believe. Just first make the mistake of submitting an application to these embassies with any of these bookings done with unfunded cards, and then they go on to cancel it, you will then understand what the time says, if you like, use all the filters you can think of, you will understand at some point. Hope you know they mostly have it as part of your booking conditions that they can try to access the money in your card at any point in time, and that this point can be after you have submitted your application?

I just got refunded one of my reservation’s money on Friday after it was withheld for over two weeks, the others - some up to three weeks - are still being withheld, including the one I’ve cancelled by myself. I however know that I will be refunded most definitely. And I think I’m much more comfortable with this their approach, instead of them canceling my reservation out midway into my visa application’s submission.

LESSON: Dud and unfunded cards as at today will sure get applicants into trouble per their hotel bookings if not extra careful.

Well said ! Better safe than sorry.

I always use Hotel.com and always they withhold a night's booking cost especially for France. But once you cancel the reservation, funds get remitted back in some days. others I just use booking and they are charge free. (For other countries not France)

Oga, I have been traveling for more than 3 decades, but I can help educate you by sharing some threads on some of the countries that I have visited

https://www.nairaland.com/2655545/japanese-visa-travelling-japan
https://www.nairaland.com/4001717/8-things-need-know-new/28#82015296

This year alone, I have visited 4 different countries and in the next couple of days, I'll spend 4 days in Istanbul, Turkey and another 10 days in many of the 26 Schengen countries. Invariably, I have booked Hotels in 10 countries this year 2019 alone in different parts of the world(excluding Africa) and all the bookings I made are of free cancellation without losing N1.

Experience matters. Don't just argue based on your limited experience, as you're not talking to a fresher. Some people call me 'Ajala the traveler on Nairaland'
There are ways I do it, that I don't pay 1 kobo in booking hotels in any part of the world using booking.com, hotel.com and Airbnb

Lolz “Ajala the traveler on Nairaland”. Oga, kindly do at the bolded TODAY with France and UK hotels, please. And make sure you come back with your testimony. Shior!

I haven’t set foot “outside of Nigeria” sir, but I can confidently tell you to reduce the air of authority with which you speak on some matters. I have been a victim, and have had to apologize at some point, that guides me mostly, now. What you knew was working yesterday may not necessarily cut it again today. Wisdom! Some humility will help you too....
