They shouldn't try this in Nigeria. Most of the fans are not informed plus the vote will be manipulated.

If they try this in Nigeria the fans will vote for the local coach, even if the local coach didnt win with the votes, they will find a way to fix any of them there

Are you guys really serious about that 'Best performing foreign born prospect' award section?

You might want to have a review on that. I don't think it is polite to make them feel less Nigerian than they are.

That section should be removed or renamed.

N.B. It is similar to an award section like;
Best performing Igbo Nigerian Player : Ndidi
Best performing Yoruba player : Ola Aina

Why would you want to call them foreign born to their face?

It promotes segregation. They are all Nigerians and should remain as that.

You are making some sense, which part of Chad or Niger were you born? Just asking ni o?

How many Nigerians know the names of our local coaches?

Exclude Siasia since he's banned!

So happy for Ogenyi my man. Hopefully baba will bounce back even better, he has not retired but many fans have retired him. I feel for him tbh. That wrestler called Matuidi stopped him from making a move to a top team after 2010 WC and he was unfortunate with his proposed Birmingham move. Though time Don go, but something good can still happen.

Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has explained the thinking behind his wonder goal in the 67th minute of Queens Park Rangers' 2-0 win against Birmingham City at the St Andrews Stadium on Wednesday night.

After receiving a pass from Marc Pugh, Osayi-Samuel raced away from inside his own half, held off the challenge of Colin before firing a left-footed shot into the roof of the net to give QPR a two-goal advantage.

His brilliant performance saw him earn the Sky Bet Man of the Match award; he completed a joint game high five dribbles, touched the ball 44 times including five in the opponents box.

''When I got the ball, I saw there was a lot of space in behind, so I just tried to use my strength and pace,'' said Osayi-Samuel to QPR's official webpage.

''Chris Ramsey has been yelling to me in training that I need to do more of that so it was great to get an opportunity where I felt I could do it and fortunately it paid off.

''I knew the defender (Maxime Colin) was on a booking, so it would’ve been hard for him to try and tackle me, so I just used that to my advantage and had the confidence to take him on and luckily it paid off.

''When I was through on goal I wanted to shoot with my right foot, but I saw the defender was too close to me so I used to my left foot to make sure I kept it on target and luckily it went in.''

Eligible for Nigeria and England, Osayi-Samuel has pledged his international future to the three-time African champions, but has not yet received a call-up to any of the national teams.

A Nigerian kid made his champions league debut yesterday with no noise made about him.

Joshua Zirkzee came on for Bayern Munich against Spurs.

How many games has he played for Bayern.

How good is he and I don't mean in relation to youth games. Has he been tried and tested in senior first team games.

I haven't heard much about him.

Please educate me.

That's good.

I am not one to jump in on youth player and call them outstanding until they are proven.

There are exceptions that l have seen and concluded they were absolute quality as a teenager of 16. That player was Dembele when he was at Fulham.

But so many promise a lot and then fade away. Some even get first team games do well for a season or two then fade away.

An example, there was a time l thought Ibe would eclipse Raheem but look at Ibe now literally running down his contract.

Meanwhile watching Man U and expect to demolish AZ

And Rangers to struggle against Young boys it's difficult it's going to be very close 3-2 to the team with greater hunger, Rangers.
